Well, me and my dicky hip managed to do the caliipers using the tips you guys gave me. It took me 5 and 1/2 hours to do it, and just finished before the rain came pouring down... pheeeewww. It took so long cause of my flippin hip... grrrrrrrrrrr. Have ordered the decals from e-bay. Cost £10.99 from e-bay, but are the straight, not curvy ones. Here is a couple of photies. I put the wheels back on before remebering to take them.. (wot a walleeeeee). Anyway here they are guys.. wot ya think?? Col.. :) B) Bum... forgot this one...

Hi peeps, Nuisance here again.... lol. Well, I have actually got round to buying some red hammerite paint to tart up my calipers. Thing is, I am no paint technician and haven't a scooby about the best way to paint them up.. prep' etc etc. Can you guys give me some advice, walkthrough??? Appreciate any help. These are mine from CLCM in edinburgh. Bear in mind I had a problem wit rear adjuster doo-daa's. Front caster left: 6.00 front caster right: 6.36 front camber left: -0.12 front camber right: -0.06 front toe, left, right & total: 0.00 rear camber left: -1.06 rear camber right: -1.00 rear toe left: -0.03 rear toe right: -0.15 rear total: -0.18 thrust angle: -0.06 Col.. :winky: :winky:

Hi peeps, Thought I'd put some piccies of my Lexus all polished up with Meguiars. Second time in 3 months. I did it again coz I enjoy doin it. I used to use Autoglym, but, I am off them now as I think that Meguiars is a superior product, easy to use and gives a much better finish. Clay bar'ed Step, 1, 2, and 3. Col. :winky:

Hi Tommy, I got the same question from Tony at WIM and posted the following on their forum: ------------------------- Well it went quite well. The settings on the front were way out, particularily on the front nearside. Unfortunately, Willie had problems with the the rear. The adjuster nut thingies (excuse the technical detail), caused a problem preventing full adjustment. Something to do with a lug on the rear offside being in the wrong position, and washers on another two bolt adjuster things. They were corroded, and really need replacing. He spent a while trying to figure out ways of doing the full set-up but could only get an "almost" result. Willie told me that if I get the nut thingy's sorted, he can do the the full thing, and that if I get it done within 4 months, he'll do the whole thing again for a good price. Charged me £48.00 for the work he carried out, which I thought was OK as he was well over an hour trying to get a full result. He also told me that if I noticed no difference, to bring it back. Well, i do notice a difference. The car isn't so twitchy at higher cruising speed, and, the tram-lining seems to have gone completely. Although, Willie said I needn't go rushing to get the nut doo-daa's fixed, do you think I should do it mate?? I also have some piccies of the event and a couple of AVI's... where can I put these so you can have a look at them?? --------------------------------------------------------------- As an addition, when I post the piccies, Willie of CLCM says to tell you all that the equipment you see on them won't be there in a couple of weeks. He is getting a new rigout which will cope with up to 22" wheels (As on the new Rolls-Royce). So, he is moving with the times. My feeling is that he is a genuine guy focused on customer service. He seemed to do his best for me, and has said that when (and if) I get my nut/bolt thingies fixed if I have any problems, the mechanic/engineer can call him direct and he'd explain what is needed.
