  1. All in all, around 750 quid landed and delivered, fitted and fabricated. Lexus for that parts alone quoted 798 Inc vat..
  2. That's strange passenger side rear is the reverse light and there's no led tomfoolery there. Just a capless bulb! So effectively when turning on rear fogs only the offside should illuminate. Got any pics?
  3. Sell your Aimgain setup and go OEM+ :) I'm sure someone will break your arm off for it..
  4. Has the Vol knobs changed? I don't have ML but mine looks like a brushed metal effect?
  5. Thanks :) Having a quick look (I assume this is the latest shape RX) I honestly think its interchangable like the IS.. However its how far you want to go to explore this option!
  6. The trim itself is semi fabricated to fit/clamp onto the the existing cut pipe. I would personally prefer this method as before, if any impromptu exhaust change these trims can be removed without being cut if they were welded on. The OEM exhaust is around 55mm OD and the fabricated parts are stainless steel and has an OD of 57mm and the effectively sleeves onto the existing pipe increasing legroom for adjusting - welding is very risky as spot welding then grinding it off if the trim was askew if you know what I mean. The garage has now made a template and if anyone is interested they can order the tailpipes and fab them up before sending. So its just a case of "cut and play"
  7. Howdy Here is my MY2017 genuine diffuser with matching tailpipe trims the garage managed to avoid welding on the tailpipes. Basically they fabricated the 2017 exhaust trims to fit the OEM rear box and the only sacrificial element is cutting off the curve end of the pipe, So if the exhaust needs replacing you can take the trims off and reinstall. If Mods/Admin allow I can pass on the garage details who can either supply and fit, OR supply everything (inc diffuser) and modded trims for the competent diy'er to have a go. Its a simple process IMO and pricing is cheaper than Lexus UK Pics below..
  8. Honda ones are alot more lol.. My old Civic Type R was 200 odd... However as spares were aplenty it was easier to attain. The IS300H is a bit of a rarity in the scrappers..
  9. I concur.. most brake switches are adjustable and there are pedal travel tolerances for them to activate the brake lights in workshop manuals. Adjust them to suit I guess if you know what you doing..
  10. I've ordered another batch online in Japan via my good friend. 20 quid for 20 of them posted.. This should keep me going :) I do have a few standard black rubber ones so just put them on for the time being.
  11. Something dawned on me today whilst moving the car.. Someone has nicked 2 of the aluminium valve/dust caps.. Probably little sh*ts with their bikes. I'm not sure whether to replace them with factory OEM OR just get black rubber ones.. This bothers me as my car is ' not' complete :( (OCD)
  12. I've used the following method for a very long time. Fishing line (ebay for 5.99) around 15kg + line weight as I find stubborn badges will snap the line. in a 'flossing/sawing' motion the badges will tumble off. Secondly for the adhesive piece I have always used AutoGlym Intensive Tar remover. Dab the solution on the residue (which is normally glue and foam) leave for 10 minutes and it rubs off with your fingers. No need for heat etc.. This stuff is fabulous removing interior window stickers, bodywork stickers etc.. Then as Rayaan said I use a very light compound like Farecla G3 (like Tcut but milder) to get rid of the 'decal shadow' in the paint.
  13. I have plenty of Honda Green Hybrid here lol.. Triple QX 51 quid from Euro Car Farce is about 30 quid plus vat on my trade account
  14. Quite laughable what 'Lexus' sell their own branded oil for.. I think 80 quid for 5 litres lol
  15. The whole assembly shouldn't cost alot.. I would say below 15 quid.. 81250-30210 its a Toyota part so maybe give them a try?
  16. Sounds like a polarity issue? Or it could be a canbus (programming issue at dealer level) depending how Lexus relies on Canbus...
  17. I think the MY2017 has now a mechanical switch now I've read somewhere!
  18. Yep the first one was a bit of a dog to fit as it kept on slipping out the channel when hitting the prescribed 'strike points' but after doors 3 and 4 they were on like a flash
  19. I got the 2017 200T/350 one that uses the rectangular exhaust tips. I have everything I need and will hit my workshop next week on how to mount it.. The OEM rear boxes already have brackets welded on to the new tips are bolted onto them.. I'll try and do a 'how to' and how I did it..
  20. Soz mate Should have clarified.. GPS actual for example 46mph - Lexus speedo 50mph. so the car is reading higher than actual by 4mph or so.. Tyres are stock with stock wheels (18's)
  21. First time I've ever come across this, maybe its a Lexus rule lol. However I've always used analogue from all my cars going to Nurburgring. Spa and never has speedo out issues.. Such as life.. Cheers
  22. Using my Sat nav on my phone I've noticed that my F Sport is 'off' by 4mph lower than actual speed. I used Waze, Google maps, another phone and even a Racelogic VBox and the speed is definately not right.. Anybody else noticed this on their speedo (digital ones not analogue)? Very strange indeed.
  23. I spoke to my dealer and he looked shall we say a little confused.
