  1. Sorry mate, no can do i'm afraid. I'm gonna be in York from Friday evening. I'll apologise in advance for 2 things: 1. I could be a little on Sunday morning, depending on how Saturday night goes 2. The state of my car. Not gonna get chance to wash her before the meet and she's filthy OK mate, maybe next time then. Enjoy your weekend. :)
  2. I've posted a list of names at the begining of the thread. If you don't see your name on there and you want to join us, let me know !!!!! :)
  3. Sorry mate, have'nt got any lowering springs for ya, but are you joining us on Sunday anyway ?
  4. I've got the TTE's on mine along with the TTE anti roll bars. The rides a little harsh, but thats to be expected if your wanting the car to handle well. Mines dropped four and a half inches on the rear, and still has an inch of thread on the damper to wind down, if needed. I don't know where they got 50mm from !
  5. Have you worked out a price yet Dave ? Also, how's the intercooler coming along, is it made-up yet ?
  6. Well done mate.......Happy for ya ! :)
  7. Do any of you guys use certain delivery companies because their cheaper than others. I'm trying to send a parcel and thought that Royal Mail would be the cheapest option, but they wanted £45. Any suggestions ? Whos the cheapest in your opinion ?
  8. Thankyou, If the noise is only apparent through the headphones, then it will be possible to surpress the left and right phono leads that go into the infra red control unit on the roof (the part with the led's built into it).
  9. Easylife, Is the interference only apparent through the headphones, or does it come through the car speakers aswell ? This can be rectified......
  10. What you been buyin' know Dave ? erm nowt mate Don't give me "nowt mate" !!!! :winky:
  11. Put me down for the battery bar and the radiator pipe please Dave . :)
  12. Hey Pete, How about a shot of the whole side of the car so we can see what it looks like ? VERY nice rims by the way ! :)
  13. I would have thought that a SE kit would be a better match to the phone, but am a touch discouraged by mudz comments, specifically the one about not finding the phone when its in his pocket. I keep the phone in the arm rest, so this is important. My father has the earlier Parrot kit, and this doesn;t have those sort of problems. Seem to recall that you are in this sort of business though Duncan ( ) - so is this based on your own experience of both kits? Yeah your right, I am in this business. I've fitted the parrot and the Ericsson kit, and found the Ericsson's to be of better build quality (components inside) and better after sales help with warranties etc. It could be that Mudz has a phone with a software problem which is not totally compatable with the Ericsson kit ??? There are alot of phones out there that have this problem, but it's not recognised until it's connected to a car kit. Go for the Ericsson Matt, trust me. (The largest car audio and comunication company in the uk dropped Parrot products last year for not full filling their warranty claims) :winky:
  14. Go for the ericsson HCB-30. It's a much better kit than the Parrot.
  15. I'd definately go on the speed awareness scheme. If you get the 3 points and the 60 quid fine, your surposed to declair the points to your insurance company, and your premium may go up.
  16. Not, if you want to save space :)
  17. To be fair mate, ProLex-uk sent the clutch and oil cooler out within a day or two. It's just the flywheel i'm waiting for, but that's coming from another company... posibly a shed on the moon.... :P
  18. Yes mate, 26th Sept, Clifton Moor, York. (McDonalds car park @ 11 am)
  19. Looks very nice mate, what rims are they ? :)
  20. They've made a big difference to the overall look. Are you pleased with them ? Besty, get some bought ya tight g*t. :P
  21. Steve, How easy was it to remove the old flywheel, and what torque figures did you use to tighten the new one back on? also torque figures for the clutch cover ? Thanks. I asked the question earlier in this thread about losing oil from the gearbox. I guess as long as the box is removed with the prop still in the back of it, it shouldn't leak out. I'm getting the flywheel and clutch next month when funds are looking better, but unfortunately i'll be doing the the work myself, without the aid ofa ramp
  22. Can we see some pictures Steve ? but what do you think of the new clutch and flywheel ? and how was it to fit ?
