I looked into buying either a 6, 7 or 8 before i got the Skyline. I talked to quite a few owners, and they all said that the 6 was the best. I was quite shocked by this cause i thought that the newer the car, the better it would have been developed. I test drove a 7 and an 8. Both very nice cars, and in my opinion, better than the Lex, but it all depends what you want out of a car. For me, the comfort aspect didn't exist any more after fitting TTE coilovers and low profile tyres to my Lex, so i traded mine in for the GTR. Should have done it ages ago.... it eats evo's for breakfast....

There's a few of us with the Helix clutches fitted. I had the exact same problem your having. After fitting the Helix paddle clutch and lightened flywheel, all was well again. Speak to Dave at Pro-Lex, he'll sort you out.

I have a pair of the clear ones off my car. (bulbs included) You can have 'em for £40 plus postage....

Thanks for all your comments guys. I will stay in touch on the forums, and would still love to come to the meets. I had a run out in the new car today........absolutely :tsktsk: awesome.!!!!!! I never imagined a car could accelerate so fast. As i said, it's a GT-R V-spec (top of the range) with alot of A'PEXI mods.... Air flow meters, Filters, Intercooler, FC Commander...the list goes on. Speaking with the senior engineer at the garage, he estimated it to be around the 500bhp figure, and the way it accelerates, he could be right. I need to take it somewhere soon to have it properly dyno'd , and make sure it's set up properly to get the very best out of it, then i can start adding a few bits of my own.

Well guys and gals, I've seen my new car and arranged a trade-in deal. The Lex will be gone next week some time I'm sorry to see it go with all the hard work thats gone into it, but its time to move on. I'd like to still stay in touch with you all and still come to a few meets, if thats ok. PS: I may have some goodies for sale later on in the week. so where does the unused fuel go when there isn't a return line ?

What does the fuel return line do ? (and don't say "return fuel") Why is it needed ?
