  1. Slightly off topic... After reading what some of the milleage some people are getting from their car, i think i may have to put my car in for a service sooner rather than later. During the week I drive from Bexleyheath - Thurrock... a round trip of 30 miles, my car struggles about 95-115 miles for every £20 of "Go-Go Juice" Sorry to hi-jack
  2. I've had my IS200SE auto since the beginning of August and i must say...I Luv it and wouldn't change it :D
  3. I second that. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. Bringing the other arf and my little girl. She's car mad...used to point out every "beemer" we drove past before i got the lex :D...keeps telling me she want a pink impreza or a 350z. She'll be well impressed with all the Lexi I really fancy a roast too
  4. My lex is Granite Sky...even though the log book says silver :eerrrmm: I've seen quite a few around with red calipers. Is this standard or a mod? as its something you always spot. I've always liked doing my calipers. I've always painted them yellow as it stands out just as much as the red but its slightly different to everyone else.
  5. Thats why i changed mine. Whoever had it before me changed the dash bulbs for LEDs and i couldn't see half the clocks. Swapped them all for clear bulbs...absolutely beeming.
  6. LMAO....does that mean your gonna negotiate for an LOC discount for any1 else wanting bulbs :winky:
  7. they will fit. The only difference between the tyres is the width of the tyre and height of the wall. 235/40 = wider tyre + taller wall 225/35 = 10mm narrower + 10mm shorter than the above
  8. I've never herd half of these tips but i know i'll be out on the weekend giving them a try
  9. I've used mytyres for a few years now. Always found there prices very competitive compared with other sites & never had any issues. Local guy, will fit and balance for £8 per wheel
  10. I threw my old box with subs in the back a couple of weeks ago. The thing ways a ton... Was gonna be building a new enclosure with one of my mates but i'm now waiting for the new year.
  11. You should be able to pull the 10mm bulbs out of the original twistlock holder and the new bulbs should be a push fit. The 10mm bulbs are the same as the side lights. I got mine from a local car "bits & bobs" shop Have you made any contact with dashlights.co.uk to see if they can deliver to you?
  12. Now why didn't i think of that...i've still got my E36 318is parked on the drive.
  13. TRC on/off mines always trying to spin in this weather but that may also be down to the toe-cap in my boots A friend of mine told me about the trc cutting in on roundabouts etc... i drove with it on for couple of weeks but got annoyed with the constant power cuts. since then i've always had it turned off.
  14. I used to have a BMW. I spent 8 Months deciding whether to go for a Lex or stick to BMW.... I went for the Lex. IMHO a Lexus is better value for money. The BMW may be a bit sportier but i find the Lexus has a perfect balance of both comfort and sport. A friend of mine brought a BMW a few weeks ago for the same money i paid for my Lexus and i must say i deffo have no regrets switching from BMW to Lexus.
  15. I've had my SE for just under 2 months now. When i first started driving i really noticed it but after a couple of days you'll get used to it. As said above the wide angle lets you see alot more than a standard mirror.
  16. I'll be here. Was gonna go to the japshow but i'm moving the weekend before so funding is at a low. Will bring the missus and my little girl
  17. The German experience ay... What happened for you to not be allowed there. I only ask cuz i wasn't allowed to travel to or through Germany for a few years
  18. Yup its those 5. When I changed mine they were the only bulbs that had been replaced with blue LED's. All of the others were still clear.
  19. There should be a label printed on the PCB next to each bulb B)
  20. There are 20 bulbs in total. All of the bulbs circled in red are 5mm. The bulbs circled in green are 10mm. I dismantled the clocks last night to see if there were any aditional bulbs that could be replaced but all i could find is what is highlighted on the pic above, so i'd assume that they would include the bulbs for the meters. But i could be wrong I paid £1 a bulb. Hope this helps
  21. Sorted... I picked up some clear replacement & spare bulbs. The 3 main bulbs that light the clocks are the same fitment as the side indicator and the sidelights in the headlamp. A solid improvement if i dont say myself B) Also changed the sidelights
  22. Cool. Gonna stop at maplins on the way home and a small car shop in crayford (the guy has loads of different types of bulbs). If there's none there then i'll be ordering a few from dashlights.co.uk :D
  23. I dont believe its an ebay kit. I couldn't see half my clocks last night so I took the clocks out this morning before work & it seems like the bulbs have been replaced with some cheapo LEDs. I was having a browse last night and found this site DashLights.com - 509T / 286T Bulbs. From what i've read they seem to be a direct replacement. Can anyone confirm that it is this type of bulb? Cheers
