Did you took the dash off for painting or did you just mask the parts that you didn't want to paint ?

That's the problem with clear colored dashboards and it is worse when it is reflective like white or clear gray

I have installed it in 5 mins even with the japanese install guide B) It was really difficult (2 screws) BTW; $82 = £53,2850 and $96 = £60,8935

my only regret is the IS300 is an auto, otherwise I would have bought an IS300 instead of the 200 that I find the engine not enough powerful.

I use Motip transparent black lacquer (yellow 600mL spray can, 10 euros => £8) Rally Series. I bought it in an car centre, you should find it in anyone or in moped/scooter shops. (In France Norauto, Eldorauto or Autobacs, don't know if they are in the UK). There is also Tamiya smoke spray for r/c models windows but it is far more expensive. (15 euros for 200mL)

the problem is that it will not resist the weather and it is no easy to do as it is absolutely not a plane surface. You will have to heat it with an hairdryer but you might burn it or the fog. Transparent black lacquer is the best choice. It is the way I tinted my headlights orange thingy

it's a bit heavier at slow speed but it doesn't bother me much, I had 18" wheels with no steering assistance on my previous car . So 19 on the IS is not so heavy for me

that may be my driving style so, but I'm only driving in city. When I go on motorways, it can go for nearly 450 miles if I don't go over the speed limit
