You're very lucky so, with a full tank of 98RON, the red light comes at 450kms that equals 300 miles I should buy an english IS200 to drive in France, I'll make a great economy on fuel :P

not sure about it Mat, in France lots of people are doing such things (sometimes I really feel ashame of being french ). take a look at The Jacky Touch (the website name refers to rear window stickers and the peeps that destroy their cars like this are called "jacky"

if you expect more than 50bhp of course you will need to change some internal parts It is the same for the supercharchers conversions, if you stay reasonnable, there should be no prob. 50bhp gain is the same as the TTE SC kit but sensation won't be the same as the SC works from 0 to 7500 rpm while turbo is activated only on a range. Turbo is more 'kick a**" while SC is smoother to drive. Mat will correct me if I'm wrong :)

Welcome to the club :) I thought the Blitz compressor kit was for Altezza not for the IS200 My choice would be Turbo + Nitrous injection (Venom is what I would go for, they make computer programmable nitrous kits B) )

looks like a Nissan 240SX S15 release. Am I wrong GRiM ? Zee, The best choice is the GS 430 But I never go on reasonnable ways, I always follow my heart for my choices concerning cars (that's quite a big waste of money sometimes ) so I would go for the R34 (plus I LOVE that car) That's what I would do if I could choose between the GS430 and the R34 whatever reason says :shutit: (but I would never have to choose as the skyline is not available in France :tsktsk: )

I run 19x8 rims with 235/35 tyres (I don't know the offset), with the eibach springs and Bilstein coilovers, there is no prob for the rear but the front rubs on fenders (wings) on hard cornering or bumps when someone is in the front passenger seat.

Is it done Dave ? I'd like to have your toughts about it on the IS :) I'm still wondering which one to take : , , or Venom kit (sorry, I don't have the emoticon :duh: ) I have found that Zex makes one for the IS but looks like Venom doesn't :(

I like when people pretending they know cars say my car is a Nissan or a Hyundai, it makes me laugh :iraqi-info-minister: but that's the way I am :) Ps: In France Lexus cars are absolutely not common even more when modded (the only one I know is mine )

I do have a custom exhaust : 64mm diam stainless tube from cat back with a Pro Inox box and custom made dual fake silencer (2 84mm diam. tubes with 104mm diam. stainless tube around. It is one piece from the cat to the rear. It makes a very nice noise but the db level is too high (over 110 ) and I believe it makes me lose some bhps, that's why I'm ordering an HKS to replace it.

I don't even asked as I think I should have nothing to pay for it :tsktsk: . As a result, I will have to start the audio mods sooner than expected I don't have the sat nav at the mo, it is in project with the new install

in France aswell, the dealer refuses to take it under warranty (the car is from January 2000) and says I have to pay to have it repaired so I just will purchase a new one here :zee:

It comes with default settings and the book for settings, but there is only settings for Altezza as the I6 engine is not sold in Japan

with 50 litres, I can drive 250 miles without aircon and less than 200 with aircon (over 40°C outside and aircon set at 23°C )
