Can anybody offer advice on how to remove the front dash mounted speaker, i have also posted same in the RX300 Forum. Thanks

Has anybody had reason to remove the dash mounted centre speaker, if so how did you get it out, i have a annoying rattle just to the rear of this speaker and think that i may be able to investigate once the speaker is removed, can anybody help me. Thanks

Just picked mine up from Leeds, RX400H loaner, bottle of bubbly, full valet and petrol top up, great service and many thanks to Ian for sorting my wheel issue out. :D

Who did your conversions, i am struggling to find anybody interested in doing it on the RX

Very good point, work out how much you are worth per hour and present them with an invoice once the work is carried out, i bet it would be an interesting conversation!!!!!!

Just received today by recorded delivery a recall letter for potential problem on the master brake cylinder. Has anybody else had same.

Find a good independant and halve the cost, the stamp in the book after the warranty expires it is not worth the difference IMHO

Wifes Mercedes A Class has sensor installed as standard, if you use their own child seat it comes with built in transmitter and when child seat is placed on the front seat the system automatically disables the passenger airbag, neat. Why cant Lexus do the same.

On what basis are you making this statement?

Did mine at the weekend, 5 minute job. What a difference to general driving, feels smoother and a lot more responsive, not sure about MPG yet, will have to wait and see.

In a nutshell Lexus do not want to know about it, it is currently with my legal representative. I think you should write to them and make them aware as it is their opinion that this never happens.

There is a door that covers the opening where the DVD loads, you need to slide it open then press the buton.

Recently purcchased set of roof bars from Lexus Leeds, they are fitted by clamping onto the existing bars, on visiting the US recently i noticed that RX 300's with bars had cross sections that fitted flush in the slots that are already part of the existing bars, if this makes sense does anybody know how to obtain these or even a part number would help.

I have signed up, i also noticed that Richard Hammond from Top Gear is also singing the prarises of this initiative, lot of press on this one, go to the web site and select media, watch the video clip from ITN News, they currently have 250,000 people signed on and are approaching BP to get discounted fuel, it works in the same way as Overdrive or All Star for fleet accounts and they are looking to get a discount of around 10p per litre for card holders. The question about spam is a definate NO, they will not pass your info to any 3rd party. The more people sign the bigger the purchasing power with the fuel company, system already operates in Holland so it is tried and tested and no i have no interest in the company other than i want cheaper fuel.

I thought i would bring the members following this thread up to date on current situation, I wrote to the MD of Lexus GB on the 6th of March and as yet had no reply or contact from them, if Lexus GB are reading this i have to say that you are doing a great job in moving a customer away from the brand, my confidence in them at this level is :tsktsk: dropping rapidly. i will also add that in my business if somebody at this level recieved correspondance and did not at least acknowledge it within 24hrs the brown smelly stuff would be going through the fan!!!!! I will as and when they can be bothered to reply advise you all of the outcome.

I am now in communication with Lexus on this issue, i would be most grateful if all those members who have had this problem would be so kind as to PM me with your details and details about the incident (Lex69 many thanks for your info) and what Lexus said to you, this information may be used in my case against Lexus GB

Any particular problem you want to write to him about? :) I suspect it is related to the RX mirrors containing corrosive substances which ruins the paintwork... if correlation of other threads on the forums is anything to go by ;) L. You would not be wrong :winky:
