There is a very easy way around this problem and very low cost. Just change your name by deed poll to YD51 LLR or whatever comes with the car. Job done

Nope... They are on gantries scattered on these motorways... don't know which though??? The SPECS on the M6 were indeed in the roadworks between Jnct 4 & 7, they are no longer there, the specs on the M1 were in the Roadworks around Nottingham, the M62 ones were also in the roadworks at Manchester and just before Liverpool. The only SPECS cameras in this part of the world on the motorways are only used in roadworks as you will notice on the ones that are no longer in the 50mph zone on the M62 now have bin liners over them..

Something you might be intereseted in regarding viewing CCTV, under the new data protection act the company that is filming must keep a tape recording for a minimum of 7 days and you can demand a copy of any video that has been filmed that has you involved in it. The company, ie T*sco can charge you for the tape, normally about £10, but by law they and anybody else are obliged to provide, this includes councils, so if you have been a bad boy in town with a bird on Friday night you can ask for a copy of the section of tape that you appeared on for prosperity. Check the Data Protection Act Info site for definite wording.

A mate of mine has just purchased a new IS200 from Lexus in Liverpool, he was advised that Lexus are currently offering £2500 worth of extras in the form of a sports pack on all new Lexus orders, on this basis he signed up and is awaiting delivery. Does anybody know anything about this and if correct how far back does the offer go.
