No, but BMW know how to treat customers!
I am not saying Lexus are perfect although on the whole my experience with them has been pretty excellent. As a regular contributor to the forums it is quite clear that Lexus have a few issues with their first diesel and I am pretty confident that they will be resolved.
However for all their mistakes they make BMW look like a bunch of amateurs when it comes to treating customers. In the past they have refused to return phone calls, ignored me in the showroom (in more than one dealership). When asking the salesman to explain the capabilities of the X5 we were told, "What do you want to know?", the salesman just was not interested in selling the car. Another time I wanted to take a test drive in a 325 but they just didn't get back to me to arrange the drive. In the end an email to BMW customer service got them moving. But it was all too late and I was more than happy to give my hard earned cash to Lexus (again).
