    Approved. I use Raybrig 5000k. Has a little hint of blue as you look at them. But not directly at them, it will hurt your eyes. When driving, its bright white, with no blue hue. 6000k has a hint of blue while driving. White lines will glow blue hue around the edges 8000k and 10000k is almost similar. With deep dark blue and poor visibility down dark roads. 6000k is common than 5000k. Since I got mine from Japan.

    I think there is a fix for the calipers. Its called a fix kit. Not sure how much they run.

    I use 5w-30 Mobil1 fully synthetic. Yeah, that clunking noise is common. Its the floating calipers, and that noise is the pads moving when you press on the brakes. You will hear it, fowards and backwards. Some say they hear it on rough roads. What kind of HID conversion kit did you get? Look in the F.S. forums to find discounts. Here in the states, we can get the part # from Lexus and call Toyota for better pricing.

    nice IS. Luv the color Just out of curiousity, are your fenders wider than the U.S. version? We dont have stock sidemarkers, because its on our bumpers :iraqi-info-minister: Can you take a pic of your car fenders from the front. I want to compare my fender to yours. thanks and keep up the good work. IMO, it needs to be lower on the stance

    japthree...you are right, its just cosmetics. I dont think there is a way to accurately read those things. I get a reading by filling the tank up full. Drive 200 miles. Fill the tank up full and see how many gallons you get. Divide that by the miles and you get your MPG. I get about 21 mpg. Thats my normal driving. If I drive like "driving miss daisy" style, then I can pull off 23mpg.

    Do you not have power folding mirrors? It was standard fit in the UK, I'm assuming you're not in the UK? Autos did have an armrest, and later down the line I think they started fitting them to all models, but yes a strange oversight on the earlier cars. Quite interested in that Scangauge II, how difficult is it to fit? Not UK, but the US. No cars in the US have Power folding mirrors, wish we had it though. And I cant buy one of yours, due to reflection in the mirror :winky: In the US, 01 was the first yr that had the IS. It came as an Automatic with no armrest. 02+ came with an armrest and a manual tranny.

    Leather/Eskaine(Alcateza(sp?)) seats/panels and heated. LSD on rear diff. 2jz-GE 3.0liter Inline6. What I dont like is that the back seats dont fold down. Do you guys have Power Folding mirrors?

    I followed your source. You have the nices clocks in your cars. Especially in Mr.Singh's old car B) :D I will search and find pics of different yrs of IS300. But only in US versions ;)

    There are no modifications for the JDM/UK headlights to fit on USDM IS300. IS300 came with HID and Autoleveler as a package for under $900 US dollars per side. :o Im not sure if JDM and UK are different. Just go out and buy an HID kit and locate the ballast on the crash bar. But dont know if the wires are long enough. USDM IS300 did not come with amber reflector in the corners. We use amber bulbs.
