  1. THere is also another "TTE" Lexus Spoiler available at £177.98 (think that is with GOld Discount...) Hmmm.. there is a patern emerging here... But can I firstly welcome you to the club! Great to have another GS Owner on board! :zee:
  2. The "S" is often over looked... great car even in the GS..
  3. did you mean september?? or are you saying you CAN make september. Lets keep it simple folks. Loz has a whopping migraine. lets just say 27th Sept or 11th Oct Cheers, Loz
  4. On a more serious note. Quite happy to bring him down to France (with his folks, seeing as we are all strangers!!) but not wanting to be too indelicate... will he still be around then? WHy not bring the carting event forward another week from the 27th to the 20th and invite him along to that. Sure we could bring him, split his ticket, (let him win??) and obviously give him honourary LOC status for the day... Any takers? :zee:
  5. Dude, have you seen your hair? there is nobody less fortunate than you! :shutit:
  6. So its Tockwith and the date is.........September 27th or October 11th. We decide today based on number of responses in this thread. CUT OFF POINT TO EXPRESS YOUR PREF. IS 9:30pm after that someone will add up the scores and announce tomorrow the date. PLEASE BARE IN MIND THAT IN LIGHT OF Robin the Terminal Cancer Patient we are now also offerng an earlier date that Ryan will advise of when confirmed with Tockers. This is because Robin only has a couple of weeks left to live despite being only 16 and loving cars. So if we can take him to this it might be appreciated.... Ryan, No need for a pole. you cant be that bored at work. We decided on Tockwith ages ago. So what date is best for people. I'll start the vote with September 27th
  7. I was under the impression that you didn't like the Hi Power stuff that we sell We are in the process of replacing our dyno hopefully before Christmas - better wait until then so that we can test up to 1600hp. BTW automatics are very difficult to give an accurate power figure. Hey, if you don't want my business..... :o So no rolling roads this year then? Guess I'll have to try those chaps at Silverstone... :zee:
  8. Whatever, whenever. You know me... Poor kid. But on a lighter note, it makes me proud to be part of a club that is so keen to look out for the interests of someone we have never even heard of before... I knew there was a reason I like hanging out with you all. Looking forward to taking Robin for Noz powered blast!
  9. High octane fuel is juice for the righteous. Basic fact - the higher the octane the more ignition advance (more power and better economy) you will get. Every Lexi that lives and breathes has automatic ignition control which senses engine knock. If you are using low octane fuel the ignition automatically retards which loses power and economy - and visa versa. Funny thing is that although super unleaded fuel is more expensive, the economy is better so the overall running costs are about the same. Dude, you are a mine of information! but get back to me on that purge kit price if you will... Cheers! :zee: Also, what is the Gold member price for a dyno run at TDI?
  10. I have been most pisshed off by shell garages that have run out of the cards ( oh I'll give you two next time...) yeah, when I am 300miles from home that helps me not! I still have the same as before but in larger quantities... :zee:
  11. mental note: Never let Ian anywhere near the Big Issue Sellers.... :zee: C'mon mate! you know that you have had and will continue to have more than £25 worth of fun from the club... and you will be heralded as the man who went gold for love not mods! Loz, Steve might through in some calper stickers!
  12. But he has to stand in line with the rest of us :shutit: :shutit: :shutit: :shutit:

  14. like the sound of that!!! a boost gauge to sit on my GS Dashboard!!! yummy scrumptious! Er... no. take your word for it mate. But I guess you could be forgive for thinking the 600psi from the bottle was forcing something, somewhere... But I understand your point. its the oxygen that makes the power with nos through increased combustion. so does that mean high octane fuel is silly? or will it amplify the effect?
  15. Complete lamps inc looms and bulbs to you are £71.00 each inc vat. Just the lamp units to you are £66.00 each inc vat. If I use my original bulbs will they slot straight in? does the unt just wire up the same as the old one? I'm well up for some of these. need to get my s h i t together and my hand in my pocket. Of course before I do this I should buy spark plugs, a purge kit and have the front resprayed. Damn, quite a list. THen I gotta think about the rear spoiler and then front one. ****. before you know it I have £750 in mods... and only the spark plugs are really worthwhile... You damned IS bugg ers have converted me!
  16. Sorry Bazza, I should be ashamed of myself... but I'm not! :P
  17. THink you might be best with a solicitor on that one as well... as dodging tax can land you seven to ten years in the big house! Now thats a lot of Ankle grabbing :yack:
  18. Speaking of which how much are 2001 GS rear light clusters?

  23. have you tried just putting the armrest down. Mine is always down and has never rattled. I would imagine that if you tighten the spring it would cure it though... Cheers, Loz
