  1. I was under the impression the 2JZ-GTE block is exactly the same as the Jap Supra 2JZ-GTE block therefore any turbo kit for the 2JZ will fit?
  2. I've fitted the ARS remover. There is an electronic adaptor which fits in the socket for the ARS electronics in addition to the straight thru bar.
  3. Very nice. Must be a sporty ride e.g.coilovers. How much did you pay? How much bhp at the wheels?
  4. Skeet is about right. I can get you the 320Km/H dials if required. However, to speed-jump the car properly, you need a full ECU upgrade (1500 quid). The piggy-back speed jumpers do not work. The auto-gearbox gets all confused and refuses to change up gears.
  5. I have the Lexus GS repair manuals. They are very in-depth and telephone directory thick. 2 volumes.
  6. 450km per tank of fuel (75 litres). Urban more like 400km per tank.
  7. The Mk.ii does 1/4 in 15.1s. 14.1s with boost controller/bleed valve. Top speed 275km/h although ecu restricts to 200km/h. No speed jumper available, so it's an entire new ecu to beat the speed restriction (expensive).
  8. Just fitted Tein Flex/EDFC and TRD anti-rolls, car is very good and sharp. No more body-roll. Remember if you change your brakes, you need to change your wheels...
  9. You can check out www.scottishcarclub.com for Knockhill etc, I race my Lex regularly.
  10. Scots unite! Check out our new Scottish Car Club, aptly named : www.scottishcarclub.com It's free to join and we aim to do track events, show'n'shine and rolling road days in Scotland.
  11. Scottishcarclub.com are running a track night on 1st July at Knockhill Cars you will see there : Aristo V300 (Lexus Turbo), Mitsu Evo 4, MR2 Turbo, BMW, Nissan SX and Lotus. Maybe also Radical. See details at : http://www.scottishcarclub.com/trackdays.htm
  12. I have some tuning info on my web site : http://www.lexusvertex.com/aristov300_tuning.htm
  13. If you like tracking the Lex, see my web site : www.lexusvertex.com
  14. Run the turbos till they pop. They're good for 200,000KM typically. Then see about HKS aftermarket turbos, not that expensive (2-3K for turbo only).
  15. You need to get your wheel alingment set up asap Claire G. Look what I did to mine : http://www.lexusvertex.com/aristov300_tyres.htm Never had a problem now as I get regular camber adjustments at the garage.

    Oem Ecu

I will sell you my stock ECU for 750 GBP - let me know so I can order aftermarket version to replace.
  17. If anybody wants lowering springs for GS, I'm selling mine. They've only seen <10,000 miles of use. They fit Aristo or GS. I'm upgrading to Tein Flex suspension shortly so I won't need them. email me at aristov300@btconnect.com
  18. I think there is a 210bhp Altezza with F1 shift...this is what I'd buy. You can give it a try on Gran Turismo 3. This model is compatible with all the tuning bits up to 600hp. :)
  19. It doesn't take much to make it a sports car - just coilovers, anti-rolls & strut braces. Soon as I have some spare pocket money I'll be buying all that stuff, although I'll only get the real advantage a few days a year on the track.
  20. you could try a jap importer of parts like Usave Auto. Otherwise, go for a custom de-cat (150 squid) and get a friendly MOT garage to give you an emissions pass.
  21. GS300 Sport does seem to have some sports suspension - maybe same as the Aristo V300 but I still say you'll lower it.
