They probably work in a very similar way, but the standard one is just designed to be a lot more intrusive to err on the side of caution whereas the racelogic one is made for track days and stuff. It's probably more important to know how often it measures and reacts to the individual wheel speeds rather than the engine, but going on the quality of reviews i imagine it works pretty well :) Aston Martin apparently use RL systems.

bet Tony wishes he didn't have 40K worth of geo equipment when all he needed was a £200 "laser wheel alignment tool" the fast fitters use. K33rjd, even I understand the differance between a Lexus dealer who must use "Lexus" settings regardless and a true expert like WIM who identified and solved the issue affected by many owners. Guess who will be double checking the Geo on my car in 2ish weeks............ I'll help you it aint a lexus dealer, they would probably quote for the correct engine to be put back back in. :o

Orded my Race Logic system this morning!! Apparently it does not interupt the engine in the intrusive way the STD IS200's does.

You are probably right as we get more used to the design it will grow, I suppose it is better to have an ugly race winner rather than a pretty looser!!!! I still think the JPS Turbo car was the best looking F1 car ever!!!

At the end of the day as far as I am aware every car Tony has "corrected" no longer not suffer from the tyre wear problems, mine did and now all the tyres wear equaly so problem solved and all down to WIM. This is not a new thing it is 100% proven by many, many owners over what must be many thousands of miles if you take every owner with the new correct settings. As I have found out lexus OC members are very particular about their cars, so things like this are for real and stand up to any test you should want to put the cars through!!

Saabs use the Resurc system, which is disapointing as you don't hear that lovely sound as a load of air is dumped in your engine bay!!! Oh Ollie, My car is being done over this next couple of weeks, I am keping the current insurance whilst the work is being done, then I will then cancel Tesco insurance and give you a call the day before I pick up the Lex with all its lovely new power so you can cover it when I pick it back up. Well thats one plan anyway!!!

So so so sorry to hear about this Tony and the rest of the guys, it affects everybody. I think every owners club Tony is a member of (which is many) will keep an eye out for the rubber to be sold, although probably stolen to order, and it will be very hard to catch the .....stards. :megaangry: :megaangry: :megaangry:

Well I have been driving an MR2 this week and I can tell you I really miss the ABS of my Lex. You will stop quicker with ABS than without, but the MR2 is better in the snow then the Lex, it just seams to grip better and the tail does not suddenly jump out it just feels safer for some reason.
