Since the nav unit on my Celsior is as dead as a Dodo I have started the conversion.
I decided I want to retain the factory look so buying a double din fascia from Ebay was not an option.
See pic for first phase completed ......
I've had a 430 in the beginning of the year and am glad to be back in a 400.
I've now got a '90 400 and a '99 Celsior with LPG and can't decide which I like best :)
Clear signs of the alignment being off is uneven tyre wear.
I'd say, the car being from a dealer, you're quite safe.
Have him do the tracking and if it turns out to be the steering box or suspension parts, you're covered anyway.
I have looked everywhere and can only find the fuse box above the acc. pedal.
There is apparently a 2nd fuse box on the driver's side...
Must be well hidden
You will have to take the whole unit out of the dash, take it inside and open it up :)
It's not the bulbs that fail (usually)
I have attached a pdf file which gives you step by step instructions with pictures

Hi Mark,
Yes, there is one at the drivers side under the dash. which is also mentioned in the diagram so that leads me to believe this is a different location.
In the attached diagram it says that radio number 2 fuse is located at Instrument panel J/B.
Does anyone have a clue where that is?

@ Stuart - Yes I will be taking pics. I will need help where everything goes when re-assembling :)
@ Roy - Cheers for the tip. And yes, it's on my 1999 Celsior.
I think I'll go a different route.
I'm hoping Steve still has the non-nav climate control unit for a ucf21, if not, I will need to source it elsewhere. Then fitting my tablet in the place of the sat nav unit.
So I'm now left with a celsior jdm Sat nav and an Ls400 nav unit lol. Maybe they'll make nice mantelpiece ornaments :)
