    This is the exact reason why I've ordered one for the wife. Looked at the usual Diesel BMW, Audi, Mercs, but decided to stick to the IS200t. It's reliable, well built, rare, petrol with auto, all the toys you'd ever need with an awesome look. 😎

    The ABS module failed on my wifes Honda Jazz back in 2015, basically i got a mechanic to remove the unit and sent it off to a company called ECU Testing for rebuild. Costs were £244 inc shipping and the turn around time was about 5 days from when they have received your unit, also it comes with lifetime warranty too. Once the refurbed unit is back the mechanic refitted and bleed the whole system and its been as good as new.     For those who does their own oil changes, what oil do you use on the ISF. Been looking around at engine oils for my 60k mile service, Shell Helix Ultra seems very well priced. Went on the shell website put my reg number in and they recommend the Helix Ultra Professional AG. http://www.shell.co.uk/motorist/oils-lubricants/lubematch.html#iframe=L2diL2VuX0dCL2VxdWlwbWVudC9pc19mXzVfMF92OF8zMnZfdnZ0aV8ydXJfZ3NlX0VGdDhQZTlTTA== Works out about £35 for 10 litres from euro carparts, not bad for a well branded oil, so what are peoples thought on this oil.

    I think you're correct, I do recall the cars I've seen with the mud flaps on also have the rear bumper protector and rubber floor mats in the boot.

    For some reason front and rear mud flaps are fitted as standard to the facelift, make the car look cheap imo. Mine will be coming off when it arrives.

    Just had an even better quote from my local dealer at £325 + £300 for the 8 spark plugs so works out about £625 inc vat. i did double check with the lovely lady to make sure it's the 60k+ major service for the ISF, brake fluid and rear diff oil are also inclusive. Just need to pop down to checkout the dealership and confirm what they'll do on the service.

    Doesn't sound too bad then. As it's the wife's car and being a brand new purchase, we'll be keeping the car a long while if it stays mechanically sound which I'm 100% sure it will, possibly 5 years plus.

    My expected delivery date on the 200t F Sport is 30th April not sure how this is going to affect the annual tax.

    I see Eurocarparts are having the usual 30% discount, so might be a good idea to stock up some oils. What do you guys think of the Shell Helix Ultra 5W30 AG Fully synthetic? Used the 5W40 grade on one of my previous high revving NA engined car, and not had any issue. Works out about £35 delivered for 2 x 5litre bottles with some left over for top up if needed as the ISF takes 9.3 litres with a filter change.

    Thank everyone, managed to negotiate the price down to £695 with a free MOT thrown in but the dealer is about 50 miles away. Will try my local dealer to see if they'll match the price and also supply my own oil.

    My ISF is due its 60k service soon, Lexus website lists £895 for this service. Seems very expensive for some spark plugs, oil & filter change and a check over the car. Has anyone successfully negotiate some discounts off the price?

    F White/Dark rose was my personal favourite but as this will be the good lady's car, she were sold once we've seen this colour combo in metal!!

    Just put an order down for an IS200t F Sport with the premier pack in Azure blue/ Dark rose leather, expected delivery date at the end of April/early may. Can't bloody wait!

    Exactly what I've thought. The pre facelift IS200t FSport lists at £31,495 + ML system £3,000 + leather £2,000 which essentially is what you get on the Facelift 200t Fsport, so what do I get for the other £2,5000.

    At last!! Seems like they have bumped the price up a fair abit. atleast on the IS200t FSport anyway.

    Does anyone have any info on when the facelift IS will be available, just paid a visit to a Lexus Dealer to look at an IS200t F Sport for the wife and the lovely sales lady have told me it won't be here till another 6 months. Really wanted the facelift but was a bit put off when I heard this. Alan

    Have you tried ringing a different Lexus dealer with the part number to see if they can order it in?

    They're OEM LS460 F Sport wheels that's on Graham's car.

    On the subject of transmission oil, has anyone successfully changed their ATF as i read somewhere that the fluid have to be at a certain temperature to set the correct level?

    Just wondering what's the mileage of your F, mine just turned 22,222 miles.
