this does seem a bit odd to me tbh - i guess the other forum referred to is the " # " ? why when theres so many references on here to all sorts of links-events - groups etc would this site be considered detrimental to the "lexus owners club " ??? i can say with all honesty that whilst i belong to both forums and actively participate in conversations on both i have never heard a bad word said about "lexus owners club" on " #" or heard any derogatory comments of any kind - in fact they have proved to be a really helpful and articulate bunch of guys with a wealth of experience who have better things to do then attempt to influence peoples choice of where they spend their time on their own computer - i do not understand why there should be animosity here - could someone please explain as i am relatively new here and would welcome clarification

it sounds as if you should be talking to the people you bought the car from - you need to plug a machine called a obd2 scanner into your car - this will generate a fault code/s . i think you are wise not to drive it as much as possible whilst engine management light is on as it indicates a fault . when your car is attached to the obd scanner the code will say what the fault is as regards ecu remap etc i would concentrate on getting the car right before modifying at all and i believe you cannot remap the ecu anyway - or did you mean reset ? Your guesses as to possible causes sound a bit strange to me - you may only have a minor fault at the moment you should without delay contact the people you bought the car from and or the warrenty company and ask them to arrange a repair if you bought it from a trade source - if you bought it from a private individual i doubt you can ask them to rectify the fault with any success. dont hesitate to ask if there is anything you dont understand click below for fault code list :- FAULT CODES

Hi all - if anyone has one of these going spare at a reasonable price please get in touch - the bit im after fits to the bonnet itself and the bonnet support rod clips into it when you are not using it ie closing the bonnet - thanks in advance

i could be wrong but i think whoever helps you out on that one is gonna need to know what year your car is - i presume all the original plugs have been cut off - do you know if the aftermarket stereo is wired to the amp behind the glovebox still or bodged around it ?
