Its far more expensive to do it this way, as the parts for the OEM nav monitor housing are expensive, region of £500 for all the bits plus your monitor. My solution bits will be cheaper plus your monitor, much cheaper.

Right! Been terribly busy all the time with the renovation of my living quarters etc.. But here goes... The TME-M770 CAN be adapted to fit into the oem LEXUS sat nav monitor console. The Motorised console I was developing is at a stage where it is fully working. A console will be going out shortly for review and evalution to one lucky LOC member, (you know who you are), As for the sat NAV package to go with my SOLUTION, you can use ANY sat nav computer thats on sale, including the all new ultra quick access NVE-N099P Alpine DVD sat nav unit. However you will NOT be able to benefit from the touch screen feature. However, just to keep the cost down, people can go for the older version Alpine DVD sat nav with my motorised monitor solution shortly. OR at a later date go for the TME-M770 touch screen with NVE-N099P but this will be at a rather high price with the top dash motorised solution. Hope this helps.

You mention you require a dealer warranty........ you would'nt get such a thing on an ALTEZZA, as they are all Imported. You will not get insurance on an ALTEZZA for less then £3000/year, consider this in your budget. The SEAT cupra R for a decent one starts about £14K ... How are you weighing up your budgets ? Did you buy the Curpa R proper one, or the deisel model. What was your insurance quote on that ?

My Armrest advice is to stick with the original item, looks far better and more oe.

No leaks at all Bazza, last time I looked the it's been o.k but once monthly for almost a week theres a slight leak but only temporary. It could do with a buff, as there are some slight swerl marks near the buttons...

Yeap, shes been fine upto now, Traveing up and down the country wih no troubles or strange noises at all, she runs fine in the morning once started, On a full tank she goes for miles although a little slower due to the weight difference, Got new shoes on too so stops real quick in emergencies. Recently serviced too :winky: Oh that Judy, shall I? She sleeps till 11am on the weekends Unless she starts waking up earlier ..

After my visit the other day to high class car dealers, seems like the moneys up there , may just think about it oneday
