  1. If you search the club lexus forum some people have mentioned that the film on there mirror backs caused a high pitch whistling noise at a certain speed, maybe something to investigate i am not in anyway trying to put you off its just letting you know stuff that i came across during my investigation into this product
  2. I would defiantly go for a full bonnets, I looked into this film in great detail, even traveling to a showroom in London that had cars with it on, I suppose it depends on how fussy you are, but to me it was still clearly visible and not what I would put up with. I decide against it as I only cover 4k miles a year and very little motorway driving and if I was unlucky enough to get so many stone chips on my bumper and bonnet it would have been the same cost to have the bonnet and bumper re sprayed. It also depends on how long you intend to keep the car for, if it’s going to be a long time then the cost of multi re sprays would end up more then the film. I would have a look your self before having it done.
  3. Are you getting the hole bonnet done or just three quarters, I only ask as a friend of mine had his done three quarters and had problems keeping the line clean it always looked like he had a dirty black line across his bonnet, in the end he took it off. his car was white
  4. I think they mean it’s the only one in the country FOR SALE, the Lexus website shown none for sale nationally.
  5. I am working that day till 2ish so may be a bit late depending on were you decide to meet, happy to meet at bluewater or a pub, just keep in mind the weather, at bluewater at least you have the option of the roof if its nice and underground if its not.
  6. yes your right, i have ordered a blue one, its apparently slightly lighter but a lot brighter,
  7. i have just placed a order for the Blue with light grey interior, I didn’t want the carbon or the Torque-Vectoring Differential but added the Mark levinson audio and sunroof as I like a light, bright interior. asked for delivery for May, get the winter months out the way and hopefully pick it up on a nice sunny day. colin i have PM you.

  9. Hi Andy, I went for the Blue with light grey interior, I didn’t want the carbon or the Torque-Vectoring Differential but added the Mark levinson audio and sunroof as I like a light, bright interior. I have been invited to a manager / v.i.p. day at a race track with the RC-F sometime in November, they are going to let me no Monday were and when, so that will give me a better I dear on ride comfort.
  10. Thank you Vasillis for arranging another successful meet, nice to see you all and a nice range of cars and thank you Andy for the ride in your IS-F Well I went and done it, called into Lexus Sidcup on the way home and ordered my RC-F, taking delivery in May. So what with the crispy cream donuts and the hot chocolate its been rather an expensive day. Lol.
  11. good idea otherwise Colin will be talking to himself.lol
  12. i don't want mine till May, i thought it would be a bit premature ordering it now but after what you have said it might not be.
  13. what spec and colour did you go for?, iam leaning towards the blue with grey interior, i am not into carbon but must admit the silver with carbon did look pretty slick.
  14. There is only one way into Bluewater, just stay to the right hand side as you enter the Bluewater slip road, follow the road round, straight across about 3 roundabouts it is sign posted “ Cinema in brown signs”. As you follow the cinema car park sign off to the left keep right , this will put you in the middle car park, the left lane will put you up on the roof, Follow the road around until the last car park ( you cant go anywere else ) and make your way over to the far left or right hand corner, depending on space. Mall: Plaza Floor: upper ( not the roof ) http://www.bluewater.co.uk/en/stores/showcase-cinemas see map on right of page
  15. Bluewater is one of the largest shopping centres in Europe so its not easy to miss, and you should find plenty of sign posts as you get nearer to the post code. Post code DA9 9ST

  17. Yes I was, but I normally go for blonds, but at my age I cant afford to be fussy
  18. Thank you both for your offers. I intend to place an order for a RC-F at the end of this year for a May delivery, the dealer has told me that they will have a RC as a demo but its unlikely they will have a RC-F, so I thought having a ride in a ISF may give me some idea of the ride comfort as this is my only real concern, although its possible that they could ride completely differently. As long as the ride is not any harder than my car in sport + mode is will be fine.
  19. I am working Friday night but should hopefully be able to make it for 1pm, my brother in law may also come along with his is250. I may ask for a favour from a isf owner, a quick run around the block to see what the ride comfort is like.
  20. If you like the 450h, perhaps you could stretch to a 2012 model with a boot 50% bigger?
  21. Lexus paint is soft, the scratches are probably from your finger nails when opening the door, Meguiars scratch X and a bit of elbow grease should do the trick, remember to give it a couple of layers of polish afterwards.
  22. I brought my last GS450h new in 2008 The sun roof and ACC were options and as far as I can remember so was the upgrade to a 17 speaker ML sound system. The only difference I can remember between the SE and SE-L was that the SE-L had a slightly higher quality leather and a rear spoiler, I am sure there was one other thing but I cant remember what it was, it couldn’t have been that important ( to me anyway ) as I went for the SE.
