  1. What size is your tank Pete? It should only fill 80% of its capacity so work out what that is and that should tell you when filling from empty if it is overfilling. Mike MIke they are talking about over fuelling - not over filling Sorry, another senior moment, I will have forgotten all about it in a minute. Mike

  3. Be very careful about who you chose to install the LPG system. There are lots of cowboys out there ready to fleece you of your money and leave you with a dangerous and sometimes useless system. Mike
  4. It seems you have too much gas going in that would cause the smell . high readings & rough running as its over fuelling a bit like a choke stuck on. Its more likely that it has a leak. Mike
  5. Thanks to you all but the wife has admitted it could have been her. I have been very kind and allowed her to sleep in the shed for a week rather than outside on the grass. Mike
  6. Brilliant deal. Get the promise in writing as otherwise its not worth anything. Mike
  7. Car was parked up yesterday at noon all safe and sound to include all windows closed properly, went out this morning to find the front passenger window down by about 1 inch and the drivers side by 4 inches. Any ideas?? Mike
  8. 7 hours labour and £1200 @ cost to them Don't run away with the idea the dealer takes a hit, an insurance company underwrites all their warranties and pays out that's why they go the long way round and the most expensive. Mike
  9. Well pointed out sadly at your expense. This goes for all Classic Car policies. Tough & expensive lesson. At your renewell date you should always trawl through the comparisons sites Its still worth asking insurance companies about your particular position. Mike
  10. Lexus did mine, included fitting, coffe, morning paper, Sky News and a pretty receptionist looking after me. Mike
  11. I wouldn't waste your electricity keeping a duff battery charged up. Mike
  12. How old is the dead battery. Very cold temp over the weekend would easily knock out a dying battery. Mike
  13. Also I have only one one head light washer working any suggestions. Might be as simple as a blocked jet, try putting a pin down the center gently, you never know. Mike
  14. The only other downside is that although petrol has come down recently (129.9p locally today) gas has gone up quite a bit from 74p last month to 80p most places this month. Glad your install was OK. I am paying 68p at a Calor Gas supplier which is only 4 miles from where I live. 4 miles in the other direction is a garage selling it for 82p. Just one rip off after another. Complain to them each time you fill up and let them know your annoyed at having to pay such high prices. The price of oil has fell when in Apr 2011 a barrel was $135 in Nov 2012 that same barrel was costing $115 £20 dllars difference. Have you seen any of that benefit? of course not. Its just one big rip off. End of of my soap box lecture. Mike
  15. M.I.B. claim then. What did you do that was so wrong you were penalised with all this crap? Mike
  16. Well I am happy to report That I was a lucky winner in the Euromillions and won £5 Two numbers and a star. Wont be ordering the new Lexus super car then. Mike
  17. That is very interesting I must explore this avenue for any future disaster and hopefully for Chris whos pride and joy lies injured. Mike
  18. I remember when a 16 ton truck came out of a side turning and tried to mount my Grand Cherokee Jeep I was offered like for like and got a 156 Alfa Romeo which had a 2.4 litre diesel engine which was the nearest they could get to my 4.7 litre jeep. Crap car did not like. Good luck Chris. Mike
  19. Flaming bad luck. Thank goodness the little baby wasn't hurt in any way, but the long term outlook for the little thing dosen't look good with a mother like that. I cant remember have you LPGd yours? Mike
