  1. Yeah, the originals are 8x19 and 9x19 so if i get 8.5 front and 9.5 rear i will be able to use my current 235 40 and 265 35. Anything bigger i will need new tyres.
  2. After some long winded research ive decided to go against lowering the car. Far too many negatives then positives, so im going to make a few subtle changes to other areas of the car. Ordered a Brayson lip spoiler from US, got some wheel arch lips (like c63s have). Looking for a GS350 diffuser (i like the chrome tips). All will be wrapped in some 4/5D carbon wrap. Oh and after some further research finding some decent alloys that actually fit (5 × 114.3 are a pain to find in a classy wheel). I boiled it down to some AXE EX18 in Grey. Just waiting on my lip spoiler and ordering the wheels.. i will get some pics up in a months time when i put it all together.
  3. Ah yes.. i'll be sure to check if they are for hybrids.. i dont think hybrid model is available in US, but maybe in Japan.
  4. So is it more difficult to lower the gs300h.. ive seen some us forums where people have lowered their GS350's. So i thought id would be simple to lowere the 300h as both cars should have sport+ settings. Or am i completely wrong?
  5. Hi all, can someone direct me to some lowering springs for my GS300, want a 30mm drop all round, then based on how that looks with my f sport alloys.. i will make a decision of i should get some after market alloys. Also i would love to hear from any 4g owners if they had theirs lowered.
  6. Hello all.. I have a query and im hoping someone might have the answer. I have a GS30h, and with the hybrids you have no exhaust tips, so i just wanted to know if i could replce the the rear diffuser with 2 stainless steel exhaust tips of the all petrol version lile the GS250.. i rather prefer the look of the all petrol version.
  7. @dr_rick dont temp me man!! Tbh i would only want a black or white again. Share a picture. @Mark G the USB is gorgeous tho.
  8. Why oh why. . .i say why oh why. . Why am i still looking at IS F for sale... i need to disable my AT app.
  9. Haha . . After 20 turns or so i get it just right. Colour is Mercury Grey (it has a pearlescent effect). The colour looks so much better in person, you get to see the sparkling pearlescent when the sun bouces of the car. Thank you all for your comments.
  10. Weather was nice yesterday, so i didnt need a 2nd invite to pamper my new arrival. Autoglym SRP + Autoglym HD Wax.
  11. Hi buddy, welcome to the GS club, i did exact the same.. went looking for a IS300h but ended up with a gs300h, mine is a F Sport. I cant really say there is a common fault, lexus are fairly bullet proof. You wont be disapointed in your choice.
  12. Defo looks better in person, even through it classed as rose leather, its note like a rusty brown.. rellly goes well with the grey.
  13. Thats my old car.. i can tell from the rear windscreen spoiler i put on... its a beauty mate. Also it has a black vinyl wrap on back diffuser section. And silver vinyl steering inserts.
  14. Dealers are a hit n miss in my opinion. Iv always used Birmingham as my local.. never had a issue, did what had to be done on all my Lexus's, and provided good service. But when i went 3 weeks ago to look at a car i was refused a test drive. The sales man went to get the keys for a white is300h, got the trade plates, took my details. The moment my mrs said she prefers black he told me the car has not been in the workshop so i cant test drive it. Was a pee'd off a little. Ended up picking my GS300h F Sport yesdterday from Sheffield Lexus.
  15. Took delivery of the GS yesterday, im really very impressed with the drive, very comforting and a pleasure to drive back to birmingham. Mrs drove half way back and was also impressed with its power for a hybrid. I like the mouse cursor feedback (how it changes from free flowing on some options to small click on slecting address letters) Overall another great experience buying from Lexus dealers.
  16. I paid 14.5k.. i think i got a good deal too. Got rid of the CLS55, was real tight fit into my garage, i know the GS according to AT figures is a tad smaller in lenght so should be fine.
  17. Thanks guys, I bought it from lexus dealers. I have always been a IS man, but did like the GS. I wasnt looking for a GS, my aim was a IS300h, but when i saw the GS in person i started to like it more and more, the driving seat position, the luxury and sport combination was a real great feel i didnt get in the IS. Dont get me wrong i love the IS, but the GS just felt right. Might not make sense to some but it did to me thr moment i sat in one.
  18. Hi there, Just thought id share i have left a deposit on a GS300h. Grey with rose leather. Test drove both IS300h and GS300h, liked both but the GS300h just piped it for me. Looking forward to picking it up next week. The mileage is high (93k) but that dont bother me as my brother has a CT200H with 133k and its a solid car. Car is in stunning condition. Is there anything i need to know in terms of tips or tricks on GS?
  19. 130k on a lexus at that price would not bother as i know these cars are bulletproof (if its been maintained regularly). If the colour was different that would be with me as i write this message. Looks like a steal deal for someome looking for a grey one.
  20. Halloween40 at gsf for 40%off.. i just got some front Brembos for my CLS55 for 40£ lol
  21. What!!! Thats too cheap.. i had Brembo rear pads for £40 (with discount).
  22. I had exact same issue.. took it to bham lexus under extended warrenty and got it fixed.. it was a small metal plate that is placed between the pad and caliper.. that had become loose.
  23. I have a CLS55 and all i can say its amazing on take off, it feel much quicker then the ISF, but the ISF top end is amazing especially when it opens up after 3500rpm, so both are probably equal 0-60. The sound on the AMG is far better then the ISF, i said that even when i had the ISF. I was looking at Jags too.. but just didnt seem as attractive as ISF or the CLS. Drive wise the merc is effortless, spend £1200 on a remap, 84mm SC pulley change, x pipe, 2nd cat n res delete your looking at 550bhp with over 600torque. Thats a super car killer (tested). I love the AMG. But guess what.. there is just something about the ISF one cant expalin. And thats why i want another.
