  1. Dnt know him personally, through someone else.. but never got to meet him, just knew who he was talking about.
  2. Apart from the 60k service and brake change (which can be done), but in pretty sure i read on LOC that it was a press car.
  3. Wow.. that makes sense now.. i tried to get in touch with the trader (who said he had it) and i didnt get through. Only other thing i can think of is, because there are 3 partners involved maybe i spoke to the one whos not that involved with the business as much as the others. what i dont understand is how people were slagging off the car before it was sold "stay away" etc and now that the owner is here on LOC its all "yeah great car". Its a great car regardless its amazing and very solidly reliable. I dont know how much u paid for it and what the service history. But i can 100% say its a brilliant car. And you will enjoy it. Anyway good luck and enjoy.
  4. Hmmmmm.. shame BMW couldnt keep the reputation of its e46 M3 engine. The v6 4.0 was a oil guzzler built with weak components. Thats what pushed to the mighty ISF.😆 I miss my ISF😔
  5. Ive spoken to the trader who has it atm and he is someone i know (thro a friend of a friend) so the car is there, his happy to take cash too.. i said i will come and see him next weekend. I will give you guys a full d-low after i see it... probably got bullet holes in it lol.
  6. Top stuff.. with abit of skill you saved youself the best part of £600 or more.. good job.
  7. I dont think its a scam.. i have seen that car in birmingham a few times now, i actually spoke to someone who knew the owner of that car (after he saw mine), i told him its a very car and its not going to sell that easy being a ex police car, he didnt believe me till i googled it. He also told me the trader who has it now paid 11k for it..I know he fed this back to the owner. So i think they just taking a massive loss. In regards to the london location and pictures from birmingham.. his really balls'd up there lol I might call him and offer 5k haha
  8. I had a a bloke wanting mine 4 weeks ago but he ended up buying a grey one for £18k 58reg with 57k on the clock, came with 6 months warranty. was from Newcastle and it was on for almost 8 months. so id say 18k is fair, even though id be looking at the 16.5-17k mark.
  9. the Messa red one in Manchester is owned by a member on here, I recall him exchanging it for a RCF.. find him on the RCF chat and he'll be able to tell you much more about the car.
  10. Persobnally id go witht he black one, its has a beautiful interior combination to contibute to the black exterior colour. It also has LSD and the drive will be softer The SAT NAV has a upgrade and also has bluetooth steaming i believe. Other then that i can think of anything else. The blue bottom also on the steering. Some late 11 plates have the DRLs which is a very nice touch, so if you are willing to pay 25k ish, hold out for something with 30-40k miles but with all the upgrades I have just sold mine and all i can say i was in the exact the same situation as you.. C63... M3... RS4.. or a ISF.. i have driven them all and i did not think twice after buying the ISF.. raises eyebrows everytime you drive it and drives like a smooth sliky executive car.. then you have 3500 rpm point .. once you hit that, OMG the car is so un lexus like..the game just changes. You will love evry min of it. And in terms of petrol, i hade a e46 M3 (3.3)and the ISF gave me 17mpg compared to the 16 the M3 gave me.
  11. Welcome and enjoy a very very rare motor on the roads of UK. .prepare yourself to be asked again and again "what is that".. your going to enjoy it.
  12. Id like to have a midlands meet too.
  13. Yeah, i like the flat bottom steering, would you get anything else in alcantara to match the steering. Im thinking of getting the middle of the seats in alcantara.. i dont like the full leather look (not that it bothers me..yet)
  14. if the damaged alloys are on the same side, the colour wont make a difference if its marginally off. if its on opposite sides, then get them all done, because that colour is a B**ch to match locally. there is a place in Brum, but its too far for you (called Speedwells), the guy works on top end cars etc, and his prices are between £150-250 for a full set.. and they give you wheels to use till yours are done.
  15. hello, I thought id share some minor mods I have done in the last few weeks, been busy with the new twins so would of done it before. like others I'm not a big fan of major mods, I more of a subtle changes guy. So I had the following done: 1. Roof spoiler (painted from Japan) 2. Rear bumper wrap in gloss black (gave it a diffuser type look) 3. Rear under shark fin add on (s4play)from USA 4. front grill gloss black 5. front bumper middle gloss black. I will be adding on some rear arch flares like the C63 have, I got these from Japan too, just waiting on the paint shop to colour them. look awesome and give the car that extra wide muscle. will add pictures as soon as they are on. also will be getting some tints (75/50) & headlights in a slight smoke lamin-x tint. still looking for a Lexon front lip. the shipping charged are a joke. sorry about the dirty car, aint had a wash.
  16. I have seen that car in Birmingham, I had a few calls from my mates saying have you taken your private plate off..lol, I have seen it quickly driving by and it seems in decent condition, but must agree with the mileage, that 65k might have been seriously abused in police chase. if I didn't have mine id put in a cheeky offer of 13k haha
  17. very nice, I think the black outlines will look awesome on my white one.. please share the link.
  18. I have factory recommended on mine, only because they put new ones on for me. But on my AMG I had UniRoyals.. Top rated in wet conditions.. I felt the car grip very well in wet during last winter.. I'm quiet fussy on road noise.. These were more quieter them the michelin I had on before.. Personally I'd only go for UniRoyals. Edit* I had contact sport 2 on before.
  19. You lucky so n so.. They very very rarely give you a top sport model as a courtesy car lol. I have a question.. Did it have much torque at lower revs? I know the ISF is more torquey after 3500rpm
  20. Hmmmm.. Weird one that is.. I guess you need to just keep driving till it happens again.
  21. I see your in stafford.. i had a job done on my merc done by RJ performance in birmingham (boardsley green).. he does custom exhaust for a very very good price.. i had mine old merc for a year with no issues or banging or rattles.. top job for cheap price. I also had work done from Torque Flow, but since he merged with the MSL (massive merc specialist in Brum) his prices have shot the roof. But RJ 's work is better and clean.. and its not far at all.. im gona be taking my ISF there this week for a custom exhaust (if i get the time)
  22. Looks lovely mate.. i saw a black one with white leather at bham lexus today.. very hard not to look at it. I have seen a orange one here before and it looked stunning.. ive also seen white with red leather near my work place, personally i liked the white with red leather.. but the red and blue do make you think twice.
  23. Having spoken to the guys where i did mine, they said we recommend you change shocks if you lower more then 30mm, min
  24. I use BP Ultimax.. and when drove from brum to bluewater (lexus meet up) i averaged 32mpg.. this was a 340mile round trip. I put in £65 of feul.. which tbh is the best i have got in any of my previous owned sports cars.. better then my CLK55 and M3.
