  1. Can I see some pics of what these look like fitted.. and is it just a show piece or do they do anything?
  2. Is it needed to be ran on 97 octane fuel? I probably only get around 280 per tank around town, if im driving nice! Your take off seems quick, looks like you reach 60 in around 6 secs.. Souinds amazing!
  3. I like your custom sub box! how long did it take you to make and was it complex, because this is what I want to achieve

  4. Is that a hard modification to do? And how is the performance now compared to standard, 1st and 2nd gear pull nice for me, just wondered is this boosted more with a supercharger.
  5. Glad u sold it, it spoils the look of the car, get a smaller one thats made for the lexus
  6. Hi, I'm just wondering is there a big difference in fuel usage with a Supercharged IS200 over a standard. Im considering getting a charger, but not if the mpg difference is too drastic.
  7. I'd say keep it the same colour, unless you have other parts of the car wrapped in carbon. Thats how I would do it anyway, depends what kinda look you're going for..
  8. Theres a good chance there still in the garage, if not then its a trip down to the scrap yard! Actually im about to buy some mudflaps, are the spacers needed when using mudflaps? Hoping the ones I get are like the original ones.
  9. Thanks for that wicked that may come in handy. And as for the boot trim clips I would go to a scrap yard, if there is a lexus there you can almost guarantee the clips will be there.
  10. No laugh! Well name the place so others can benefit!
  11. Your better off just getting the right one first time round, they are around £35> on ebay for the bypass cable.
  12. Go on auto trader, you will have more to choose from and like Rory said, it doesnt seem like they are telling you everything in their advertisements, they could of tried harder.. a lot harder to make it sound like it was their pride and joy!
  13. Not sure on the wiring for the sat nav, but you could always do the sat nav mod, I think sparkystav does that modification. Or you could get an aftermarket unit that also has a Nav..
  14. Im saying HKS, it is what I will upgrade mine to. Go on you tube and search IS200 exhausts, people have done sound tests on there so it could help make up your mind what you want to go for.
  15. Go for aftermarket, JVC, Sony, pioneer etc, you will get better sound, more options, no useless tape deck taking up space and you all you need is the bypass cable and autoleads facia kit which both can be found on ebay no problem. If you get another orignal stereo that works then yes thats all good until it fails, most of them do.
  16. £370 just for the fitting or is that for the clutch and fitting? I know how u feel, the pain of 106's full of people flying past me on the motorway, its so painful
  17. Where are you gettin the clutch done and for how much? Ive got one that needs putting in too as I have the same problem.
  18. My eyes are on ur bumper if u do sell!
  19. Ebay mate, thats where I got mine from and its mint, and you will find they are cheaper than other websites that sell them. Ormi roughly how much should someone charge to fit a clutch, Im having mine done soon and I dont want to be ripped off.
  20. Welcome, or hi again lol. So is the car yours or does it belong to someone called wesley? hehe
  21. I want to change it because I believe the release bearing has seen better days. I get a whine from the 'box when the car is at idle but the whine disappears when I press the clutch. Also, I started to notice a bit of judder from the clutch recently when changing gears. Thanks for the info anyway. I think I'll get a basic kit from Fensport and ask a few local garages to have it fitted. Why not just get an Exedy Kit which a lot more people have used and give it high ratings, few quid more yes bu at least u know what u are getting..
  22. What makes me laugh is the fact the car is in no way shape or form standard, and sticks out like a hardon! Why would someone feel they can get away with that!
  23. Ive bought and Exedy Clutch Kit, the cost of the kit and to put in is going to cost me around £320 in total. Current clutch still got a few miles left in it so will probably do it at the end of the month. There is a thread on here of someone doing the change themselves and it was his first attempt. Have a look using the search bar.
  24. I'll have to do a count lol, im sure I need them for both sides, I'll have a look when it starts raining. Yep Rory i did think that, but then I thought they will prob take the mick and say £2 each! I will ask anyway.
  25. Does anyone know where I can get the push inn button type clips that keep the front splash guard attatched to the chassis inside the wheel arch? Or what the proper name for them is.
