    i've put mine under at the back of the tray where the heated seat and snow/trc switches are. reason of putting it there is that it illuminates orange so when its on it carrys the effect of the console lights above(stereo/heater dials/clock) if all the dashboards are exactly the same, then there should be a slot about the size of a foglight switch, in level with your left knee (when sitting in the drivers seat, below the instrument dimmer dial.

    i beleive it is the same as sat nav, if so...... if you look at the tray a little closer there is a removable plastic strip about 1"x6". lift it up with a flat head screwdriver and underneath will be 2 star head screws. remove these and then pull the tray out towards yourself (towards the rear of the car) need a hard pull so they pop out of the clips.

    i cant stand dirty windows on a car , but i find it difficult cleaning the rear screen near the bottom . is there a simple way of doing this , or do you have to bend, twist, turn your body in so many ways that you do your back in :duh:

    you haven't seen my rims, and trust me, you don't want to a rusted wheel arch would look ten times better :yack: don't know about wheels, but i was told that the audio warranty was for 4 years (2000 W) from hatfield could it possibly be that every dealer has it's own time limit can't be, can it :duh: we should all go to our local dealers and ask how long the warranties are on wheels and the vehicle post all the answers here, and you never know, if your local doesn't cover you, some other dealer may :winky:

    can i disconnect the motorised screen for my nav in my IS without having any problem earth wire connected to the body, it has one connector plug at the back, two small connector's, one for open/close and second for tilt switch. would it be a simple remove and reconnect without going through a reset this, reset that, do this, do that procedure i have a W plate, 2000, 200 sport.

    didn't have any scrathes when i got mine fitted amonth ago :D but they did leave my phone cradle loose kept on shaking so had to open and tighten
