Not all facelifts have bluetooth. Adaptive cruise only came in from late 2005 I think. You can see a panel behind the badge on the grille which will indicate if it has it or not.

I know several ex Lexus owners who are now convert Skoda owners. The Superb is indeed superb. As for me my Octavia vRS is now sold and I'm awaiting an LS430 (FL) to come up at a good price to replace it. As for your current problem, I might be tempted to cut your losses and sell.

Locking it with the key still sets the alarm! My vote is the battery is either knackered or needs a good charge

Yep, use a blunt instrument to squeeze them out. Can't remeber which way you push them to start but I'm sure you'll work it out.

Jammy sod. Knew it wouldn't be around long. So annoyed I lived so far away so couldn't have done anything about it for days. Puts those who are trying to sell similar cars for 8/9 grand in their place! Out of interest was there anything wrong with it? Does it have a history? Is it damaged in any way? Congrats on being so quick!

My LPG system (Prins) takes 2 mins from cold to kick in. When warm the gas system takes .5 secs to kick in when the engine is turned on. Thing is a hybrid engine is turning on and off all the time ie when braking or when stopped and I cant help but think that that isn't going to be good for the engine or gas system - petrol one second, gas the next, then off, then back to petrol then gas etc etc.

From what I've heard its difficult to LPG a direct injection engine such as the 600 however I noted on Prins website that they do a kit for a DI engine. Worth enquiring but not sure how compatible a gas conversion would be with a hybrid. You may be better with a 460? Keep us posted but deffinately do your research first. Woohoo - 100th post!

Ah Steve what a bugger! I already bought one from a well known auction site. Got a company comin round next week to sought the mileage out. Thanks for the offer though! -

Google has thrown up a few companies who offer a fix. Has anyone had this procedure done and what is a fair price to pay? -
Went to have go at fixing my faded rev needle and... broke it. Anyway I've now bought another speedo but obviously the mileage is out. Is there any way of matching the mileage of the speedo with the mileage of the car - if the result of this enquiry needs to be PM'd (for obvious reasons) then please do.

Likelyhood is it's a DVD ROM and reads discs like a computer rather than play DVD films. I dunno. Could always put a film in and have a go? Suspect the reader is in the boot but I don't know as I don't yet own a 430 -

As per the title, I've tried to search but I can't find anything - I have a MkIII and need to remove the cover for the highlevel, parcel shelf, third (whatever you want to call it) brake light cover. How do I do it?
