  1. I had a 1500 GT 2 door. If it was still on the road it would be worth a fortune now. HGC 169C I loved that car.
  2. I agree, the roadworks on the A249 and the A2 have made life almost unbearable for drivers in this area for months now.
  3. I love the Mk1 Cortina, shame it isn't a two door. I wish I had known about the show as I live fairly close.
  4. Just realised the SGS jack I linked isn't their low profile jack. The low profile is £140 so go to Halfords.
  5. Join the free Halfords Motoring club and get it for £118.
  6. Another jack deal at SGS, I have had this jack for several years without issue and £100 for a 3 ton low profile sounds unbeatable. https://www.sgs-engineering.com/tj3x-3-ton-trolley-jack
  7. I live in Kent but my SC does most of it's miles, by far, on French roads. Two weeks in Dordogne this August / September. You live in a great country and well done for getting an SC in the best colour as well.
  8. I think a full size wheel might be too heavy for a boot rack.
  9. Here is the updated version of a 3 ton low profile jack I have had for some years. I can recommend it. There is a special offer on at the moment. https://www.sgs-engineering.com/sgs-3-tonne-low-profile-trolley-jack-3-tonne-axle-stands?_kx=9qrEGc_kWDFOlcznVfnn4zMjYumWY40rC1kQd41AdV8%3D.PzKG3Q
  10. Don't forget to take a bag large enough to hold the full size wheel. If you do suffer a puncture and your boot and back seat are full of luggage, your wife will be travelling with the dirty road wheel on her lap and she will be grateful for the bag.
  11. Hi to all the ex Lexus-world members and thanks for responding to my post. It is nice to know many are still around and have a forum. Bob, You are right, I did join many years ago and didn't post for 10 years. I wasn't actually stalking as I don't venture on here very often. It seems a bit formal compared to LW. I can't believe that Rich attended the show as he doesn't usually venture out of Gloucester. I hope you are all doing well and I will be around from time to time and may even post again. Best regards Al P.S. If I am spared and the venue is in the southern half of England, I will attend next year, probably.
  12. I just checked out the video and recognised a couple of the cars there. Sorry I couldn't make it I was travelling home from SW France that day. To be honest, it would have been a difficult journey as my car only travels south. Hi to all ex members of the Lexus-world forum, I really miss the humour.
  13. Welcome to the Lexus forums Alboy :)
