    Seems that it wasn't tightened enough. Overheating. This were OEM spark plugs (the first set).

    Perhaps the same spark plug problem I had after done 90000 km. Have a look on the last plugs. LINK and PICTURE I also have a tickin noise from the rear halfe of the engine. Seems to be normal. My car was built 1999

    You have to buy a new cat if you want to get the s/c fitted by TTE. And only with TTE you will get the s/c street legal in Germany.

    Its in katakana (phonetic) and stands vor "LEXUS". The phonetics are spoken like "rekusasu". Thanks for compliment. Just some vinyl decals done by myself. Very proud of it.

    Sorry a little off topic. I had NGK IFR6A11 as OEM. Just changed them to IK20. Lexus has Denso and NGK (OEM). Seems to depend on the year the car was build.

    I made a oil change with Castrol TXT 5W-30 today. I bought it on ebay.

    Let somebody have a look on your spark plugs. Begin with the last cylinders. Think a bosch service can do this with a oscilloscope. Also let them hav e a look on the compression.

    Is it possible to add a tip about the language which is used in the different forums? If I type eurolexus.com or lexusownersclub.com I want to get a link-list like this on the LOC-Homepage: Its because of the flyers, which only link to lexusownersclub.com. I introduce the euroforum and I think the people have to see at once, which forum is in their language (German for me). Or just get the old euro hompage linked up. Any comments?

    PFFFfffrrrrtt All shift lights are expensive for what they do. Have a look on ebay. There are some very ugly ones.

    Yes ebay. LINK 12EA Spark plugs 101 Euro Shipping and handling 18 Euro TAX 14,71 Euro :( It's no possible to get the IK20 in Germany. :duh:

    No comment. Old plugs NGK IFR6A11 (90000 KM like recommended): ALL the six and No. 5 an 6!! New spark plugs: Denso Iridium Power IK20 Just want to tell you to check the plugs before they look like mine. Or change them earlier. I'm not happy with the quality of NGK. I thought Denso is OEM on Lexus? Not NGK :shutit: Be sensible for your Motor. Have a sense for a nervously running engine on low revs. This is what mine did. Belive me that I was very afraid as I saw the last spark plug. Couldn't belive it. Very sad. But now I'm running on full power. Nice
