  1. Not had much of a drive in it since bringing it home. Wifey won't let me go out in bad weather. Just wondering how to explain lack of Christmas presents to kids this year...
  2. Obviously I'm going to say it'I a good one, but it really is. Needed wheels tidying and getting ready for tyres. I know someone on here is already interested. All I'll say is they have plenty of room for manoeuvre with the price...
  3. Had mine for 5 years and 24thousand miles. Didn' have a warranty. Only expense was water pump replacement other than service, tyres, brakes.
  4. Dave, have you tried Lexus Bolton? They sorted mine, free fuel, courtesy car etc.
  5. Just a thought do you have a remote control garage door or conservatory fan or something similar. I found my key doesn't work if I keep the remote pressed for my garage door. My garage door doesn' work if the fan fob is continually pressed either.
  6. Thanks for the info. I've used Lexus Bolton for the last 5 years of owning the isf and been happy with their service and would recommend them. I'l keep you posted about the purchase. Fingers crossed.
  7. It is the one at Liverpool. My isf is white so I fancied a change to blue. I've put a deposit down but deal hasn't been finalised yet. Theyve not seen my car yet but asked me to send pics. I take it you are happy with your gs f? Have you moved into it from an isf?
  8. I was intending to wait until next September to swap my isf for a gs f but after visiting my mum in hospital for over a month now and realising how quickly circumstances can change I've put a deposit down on one today. I'e not seen it yet and it hasn't been delivered to the dealer yet and theyve not even seen my isf yet so things could change. Might have to put mine on AutoTrader if the dealer bids me too low.
  9. It' been a while since I posted on here but I think putting all the F' s together would be a good thing. You are a great bunch of blokes who provide good information and entertainment and it would be a shame to miss out on your banter because you'd changed models.
  10. Here's a couple of mine. Nearly had it 4 years. Up to 34k miles.
  11. Alan, not sure if it`s aluminium or not but the paint started to bubble on the front leading edge. I thought I`d ask if it was covered under warranty and expected them to try and squirm out of repairing it. However they agreed it shouldn`t have bubbled and rather than repaint it, the dealer ordered a new bonnet, gave me a courtesy car and turned it around in 3 days! No charge.
  12. Thanks everyone for the info. I contacted Lexus Bolton who put me in touch with their bodyshop and have quoted me £95 plus VAT per wheel. They did a good job of my new bonnet (warranty claim due to rust on leading edge) so I think I`ll give them a go.
  13. Hi all, I dont often post but read your comments so wondered if anyone could offer advice. Ive got 2 damaged alloys and considered the following options. 1 get them repaired and risk them being the wrong colour, and who could I trust to do this. 2 claim on my insurance and get 2 new items from lexus. 3 fit a dfferent type of alloy. Could I buy bbs equivalents that look like the later isf wheels? Any info appreciated. Steve.
  14. Cheers. It was good to talk to you and Sully and pick your brains. I know some people think the white is a bit naff but I like it. In fact I think the RCF looks best in white..although Luca did point out we've not seen it in orange yet! Your black cars are very Stealthy, just a bugger to keep clean!
  15. I've just told my 9 year old that theres an LFA in Stockport and he's desperate to have a look at it. We're going to come from bolton, should be there at about 1.30. We'll come in the ISF.
  16. Thanks for all your comments. I`ve used MY tyres for winter tyres for my Vito and I bought my front ISF Bridgestones from Love tyres last year. Reason I bought Bridgestones again were so they all matched, and were original equipment.I also wanted the rim protector on the tyres even though I know it won`t stop the wife destroying my alloys, but I think the tyres look better for having them. I`m not sure I drive hard enough to notice the difference with different tyres but I know that my current rears were just down to the markers at 26K miles and the rear is very loose..
  17. Just for information i have ordered 2 rear Bridgestones this morning from Camskills supplied and delivered £332.78. Local tyre depot charge £15 for balancing and fitting each tyre.
  18. I`ve got a 58 plate, white, 23,000 miles, no warranty ( come on, it`s not a BMW). had it for 14 months.
  19. yesterday at Bamber bridge near Preston saw a red ISF towing a box trailer!
  20. Spotted a silver one today at Sainsbury Bamber Bridge.Private plate but suspect owner called Tony...Looked and sounded mint.
  21. Yip, sounds like my car.Not seen any other white ones around here.Wifey works in Westhoughton so she uses it during the day. She`s going away with her mates tonight and asked if she could take the ISF.I said only if she finds a hotel with an underground car park and pays her own fuel!
