    I've not been able to get to any events yet :( , but with the help and advice i've recieved, i'm happy to say that i have virtually lost contact with my local garage where I used to be a regular! The knowledge on this site is worth its weight in GOLD :D

    I had a preludevtec, very quick especially when the vtec kicks in....but the handling was very poor, if it was wet or wind the car felt like a lead being tossed around in the wind ...styling was excellent though.

    Judging by AutoTrader etc., closer to 14k would be reasonable since a standard GS 300 same age would go for around 12.5K...........

    I always use 98 ron, get better economy and better throttle response (at least it feels more responsive!)

    Thanks chaps, took it to Lexus Hatfield and they changed the settings....I dont really understand what they did, but I said what Colin said and they seemed to understand :D

    Can anyone remind me where that excellent post was for B*M drivers.....it was a flyer mentioning no indicating signals etc. very funny...........my next door neighbour has a B*W which he covets.....would love to print one off and stick it under his wiper Thanks Will

    Yeah, i've tried holding the button down on the key as well? no joy

    Yes the internal boot release works from the lower dash and the central locking works from the key...............bit of a mystery......does the boot have a separate sensor??

    Just paid £140 for a new key (transponder), the boot doesnt release /activate from the key...............i've always had the problem but assumed that it might have been due to the old key............must be a problem within the car ....anyone any ideas?? Ta will

    I had the same problem when I bought my GS 8mths ago, heat shield was loose and rusty..............the fellas at my garage (independant) undid it and removed....they did show me it, I have to say that I was surprised at the state of it considering it is ~4 yrs old and a lux car Never replaced it though......................should I???
