    Without knowing what the national speed limits are one could be forgiven thinking that motorway limits were around 90 mph........... I will stick to the handbook numbers - I was just curious to see what other Rx400h drivers used......

    I am taking my Rx400h on a pilgrimage to Old Buckenham airfield to pay my respects to Wing Commander Ken Wallis MBE who built and flew the Bond Autogyro and was still flying at 97 until he left us a few weeks ago. A true Gentleman. Question is, I will be in a hurry so what tyre pressures will be most beneficial? Or doesn't it make any difference?

    I had my Toyota MK IV TT VVTi Supra's exhaust done by Longlife Basingstoke. Guy called Matt did the job and he is an artist and engineer. Superb job.

    Mike Sands, Do you use Mogas and does it have bio fuel added? It rots rubber hosepipes and clogs filters as it scours the engine of old deposits. Thousands of strimmers/hedge trimmers/lawn mowers have died as a result of using biofuel petrol. Green garbage and should be banned as it uses millions of acres of farmland, millions of gallons of water, pushing up food prices as a result.

    You can check on eBay as to which DVD is relevant to your year. Usually the seller has a list to choose from to check. Good luck. :)

    Spoke to Steve in Customer Services at Guildford and he said out of around 250,000 relevant RX's there had been 30+ problems. So around 6,400 to one odds. Not losing any sleep over that then....and Lexus will write/email and say when they are ready. Really impressed with the way Lexus [ Guildford branch gets a big :) from me] do their work.

    My new key arrived this morning and works perfectly and the actual machining is of very high quality.

    I see my key is being delivered tomorrow. I took a pic of the key and Jim must have a set of key profiles because he came back with the Lexus code for my key in about 4 minutes..... They all beat getting one from a dealer....... :)

    I have the electronic internals and a new key with blank faces. Any clues in the Guildford, Surrey area where I might get the original profile copied onto the new key?

    If the Lexus Rx engine is like my Toyota MK IV Supra VVTi then even if the belt breaks the valves do not kiss the pistons. Annoying but easily repairable. :) Unlike a Porsche 911......... :(

    Standing at the back and opening lids the unit is tucked away on the right with a little sliding latch/dust cover which opens to reveal a button which when pressed presents the old DVD. Replace and recover and by time you get to the front it will have rebooted. You need the key in and some power on for everything to work......

    No, the phone inputs grey out when on the move as before. I haven't yet tried Siri on my iPhone [bluetooth connection to Lexus system] but that would be my next 'task'. New disc update still tries to put me onto my local A31 [Hog's Back] via a No Entry road! :)

    I have the same disc. Works on the fly now. Rather buy the one disc I need than spend 2.5 times the price for the 4 disc set, 3 of which I will probably never use...... :hocus-pokus:
