    I have found the filter holder = fiddly little aperture - removed the old filter to discover a mass of dried leaves stuck to the filter and many more both above and below the aperture. Any ideas about how I can get into the area to clean the leaves out. Tried using ajax but the leaves get stuck because they are too large! I do live in a wood of oaks and beech and chestnut trees....... Question = where do they get sucked in and is there an aperture I have missed to clean the leaves out? Thanks in advance for advice or chirpy quips....... Picture to follow

    Being a bear with small brain can someone enlighten me with how I fit the Pollen Filter on my RX 400h please? Does the glove box pull out somehow? BJ

    Where will my 2016 450h uk spec be made? Are all Lexus Rx models made in Japan?

    The USA version has a bright blue metallic paint option that doesn't appear on the UK RX 450h. Can it be a special on UK models?

    I note Postcode and street and house number and then stoking up my 400h I input the Postcode, add the street name and then dial in the house number when prompted. No probs.

    Exactly why I posted the question about getting something working during stop/start traffic situations........ Surely a real plus if ones daily journey is cursed by traffic slow downs.

    Maybe I have missed seeing any gen on Cruise Control being available during traffic jam times. How handy it would be to be able to keep a constant gap from the car in front without having to do it manually........... Is it available on any make?

    Nice store but a bit weak in solving the bluetooth problem I have. They suggested I contact Apple Support and I had a long chat with Cory [my hero!] who ran tests on my i 6 and who has told Apple Basingstoke to replace the errant device.

    Had a chat with Apple USA and it seems that the problem is in the hardware in the iPhone 6. A lot connect via Bluetooth with absolutely no problems but some [quite a few] do not and so they have arranged for me to visit my local Apple Store [basingstoke] next week and they will do certain tests and then apparently hand me an iPhone 6 that will work properly. Progress. No fuss from Apple, with a really helpful chap in California who admitted I was not the first Bluetooth iP 6 customer he had had that morning.

    2005 [dec 29th] on a 55 plate IOS 8.1 in UK at around 6:00 pm this evening.

    Apple update IOS 8.1 is due out tomorrow [20th] Not holding my breath for a Bluetooth connection cure though........

    Spoke to a Lexus man yesterday who said because the NX is only slightly smaller that the RX he had heard that the 2016 replacement would be a bigger version with all the bells and whistles imaginable..... Just a rumour or does it have substance?

    Apparently Apple has a problem with bluetooth on iPhone 6 models and the cure will [hopefully] be made when they offer IOS 8.1. There have been many users who cannot make stable connections with cars like BMW,Jaguar, Mercedes, Toyota, Lexus. Should be sorted fairly soon say Apple. btw Vodafone sent me a new iPhone 6 and haven't asked for the old one back. I expect a text any day from Vodafone........... They wiped my last month's bill and 2 hours later I had a text saying I hadn't paid my last bill........

    I called Vodafone, told them my Bluetooth problem and a replacement phone is being provided [subject to Apple delivery!]

    Don't use WD40, get some ACF50 or similar - WD40 is not the best product to use IMHO http://www.acf-50.co.uk BJ

    The 450h has a larger battery...... I think we know the answer why.

    "Much prefer the porsche cayenne." We have one of those too and the bills are more, fuel consumption less but it is a genuine 4WD. ​There is something about the Lexus that gives me pleasure each time I drive it - real quality. `The Cayenne is - harder and not as smooth.

    The motor mags are always full of manufacturers future products - nothing from Lexus regarding SUV hybrids afaik.
