Lexus Birmingham also advised Sheffield Lexus is cheaper because its not part of the Sytner group.

Birmingham.Lexus did say to me to try and call other Lexus dealers as they may be cheaper as every lexus dealers charge a different amount on labour prices, but The parts will be the same price.

Do you think its because Birmingham Lexus are the sytner group and sheffield is part of another group? And yes its exactly the same job.

Hi guys I dont know if you guys remember, but i needed the vsv replaced on my 2001 Ls430. Birningham Lexus dealers were going to charge me £651 parts and labour. So i called up Sheffield Lexus Dealers, they have quoted me £321 parts and labour. Looks like ill have to drive all the way to Sheffield then.

I would have to agree with you moriwaki. The ls400 mk4 was the best car i had ever driven. This ls430 isnt as good as the ls400 drive wise. Okay so the ls430 has more toys, but the drive on it isnt that good. I think i made a bad move

I do think the ls400 is a more smoother drive, plus on the ls400 you wont get any problems as in air suspension sensors and they are as lexus dealers told me an expensive job

Hi guys I drive a 2001 ls430. Ive had 4 mk4 ls400 in the past. I had only 1 problem in one of those ls400 and that was it needed a new alternator and that is all, other than that i had not one problem with any of the other ls400 i had. Now that i drive an ls430 im thinking of going back to a 98 ls400 due to the fact that the ls430 isnt as smoother drive as the ls400, i have heard also the ls430 has air suspension problems, cd player problems, water getting into the boot due to rubber etc etc. Now i did not have any of these problems on the ls400's i had. Now what do you guys who drive an ls400 or 430 think? Do you guys think im right to go back to an ls400?

Looks like the CT aint that good either, but saying that it can be as bad as the drive on an Lexus IS. Is200 and is220 etc etc is a proper rubbish car to drive. My Audi S4 drove better than that.

I think im comparing the is200 to the LS models and compared to the Ls models the is200 is rubbish. I had one, it was my first lexus, but never again.

So sorry to hear about your accident. I remember when some guy hit my ls430 in the rear. Insurers said they will give me a like for like car. They gave me the 2nd most wort Lexus ever made, the is220d. The first rubbish Lexus is obviously the is200. I swear i could feel every single bump. It was horrible.

So i reset the cd player by taking the negative of for 5 mins but now im getting error 3 mesg on the screen. Oh well i think its had it. Now ive got to look for another cd player. So much for Lexus Mark Levinson rubbish. My brother has a Rockford Fosgate in his car since 1999 and he hasnt had one issue with it, yet with mark levinson systems we get issues with it. And i know im not the only one with this problem. Im going to have to look for another cd player now. Not happy at all.

Thanks for all your help. Im going to disconnect the battery tomarrow and hopefully when its reset, the cd will pop out. But i still dont understand why it didnt come out and why it doesnt read that there is a disc in cd5? And like i said i dont play them cdwr discs in it, all my cd's are original. Its like i said you wont get a problem like this with a denon cd player or any other cd player.

Oh i get it now. Its funny, Lexus use the mark levinson system yet you get a fault with the cd player. And its suppose to be a top of the range system, yet with denon etc you dont get any problems.

Thanks for the advice. Does the ls430 radio need recoding if i reset it? Ive looked in the manual and it doesnt say anything about a code or recoding.

Its each disc inserted. I dont get it. Its not even reading the cd even though i was listening to it yesterday and today. And they are orginal cd's so i dont understand why its stuck. There must be a way of reseting it

Hi guys I hope someone can help. I went to eject all my cd's from the 6 disc changer and 12346 ejected but 5 is stuck. All my cd's are originals and not copies so thats why i dont understand how this has happened. Also there is no error message either. I hope soneone can help. Thanks

Does anyone have the part numbers for bank 1 and 2 o2 sensors? According to Lexus the o2 sensors are all the same but just have different part numbers.
