  1. He said he wants to swap it with my ls400? I dont get why,? Mines not even on lpg.
  2. Yes he has pictures that show similar damage to the picture above.
  3. So do you think i should stay clear of it then? Sorry for all the question, but i dont want to buy a lemon and i am so grateful for your help.
  4. I bought the 99000 miler and what a nice car it is, just couple of marks on rear bumper but i can get the whole bumper sprayed etc for £100. I just wanted to get my head around cat c..as i am still interested in it. It was declared cat c in 2009 and passed VIC check in 2010. So because it was 2009 would it have been heavy damage?
  5. Is cat c for cars that have been damaged extensively? Is cat c the one to stay away from?
  6. If its an ls430 i have a newer Mark Levinson cd/tape unit. I was going to put it in my ls430 2001 (now sold) but when i reset it by taking the negative of the battery terminal for 5 mins, it started working again.
  7. Well im on my way to get the 2000 ls400, the straight one that is, i cant wait to get back into a 400, good riddence to the 430.
  8. Hqhaha i think ill buy the 2nd one. Its only got 99000 miles on it. Full history. Green. Looks nice aswell. Cambelt was done at 62000
  9. Oh no. Someone else is selling a straight 2000 w reg ls400 with 99000 miles and full lexus service history for £1800. Im in a dileama now. Which one should i go for, the straight one or cat c? Both same price
  10. Thats what hes saying too that im paying just for the lpg. Looks like i might get it then. Thanks
  11. Its that one that was on ebay not long ago. In devon w reg in silverish colour
  12. Its recoreded on the log book aswell as substantially damaged or repaired.
  13. Sorry. Its a cat c with 130000 miles, full service history, lpg fitted since 61000 miles and it has been vic checked according to hpi report.
  14. Sorry its a cat c Only damage was wing bonnet and corner of bumper. I called the garage that did the repair. They said it didnt need to be jigged and that it was a tidy mint car. It has full service history 130000 miles. Cambelt all done. The guy paid out of his own pocket and had it repaired to a high standard
  15. Hi guys I have seen a really nice ls400, but its a cat d. The repair job is excellent..Infact you cant tell if its been damaged. It was only a minor impact, front wing, bumper and abit of the bonnet. I think its had new panels. The car looks in excellent condition, even the alloys are refurbed. My question is would you guys buy a cat D car which has been repaired to a very high standard?
  16. Ive had 2 ls430'and 4 mkiv ls400's, and I dont think I would buy another Ls430 again.Thank god ive sold the ls430. If you want a quiet, smooth and a reliable car, go for the mkiv ls400. The ls430 is not as smooth of a drive as the ls400 and its got too many toys that can go wrong and very expensive to fix. So my advice is go with a mkiv ls400.
  17. Hi guys He wants to keep the car for a couple of months and then maybe sell it. He now has 3 ls400's
  18. Thanks. It needs to be gone tomarrow. My drive aint big enough for 3 cars and I dont want to park it on the road.
  19. Hi guys I now who bought that v reg 99 GOLDISH ls400. It was my mate Baz from bolton for £2000. I need to sell my ls430 as i have found a nice ls400.
