    My IS300 has a USB in the centre arm rest also a place to clip the lead in so the arm rest can be closed with the lead sticking out.

    Agree. Reset is needed. The reset button is hard to find. It’s down under on the right above your leg. It’s just a black button. You can only see it by getting out on your knees by the door and look up under the cover. Press and hold, see manual.

    This colour is in the brochure just released. It’s Terrane Khaki There is the F Sport White and Sonic White and 11 other colours. Dealer launch next month.

    The Multistrada was 2016 then Epilepsy came along late in life. Got my licence back in October last year. Now I have a Ducati Desert Sled. Before my heart op in 2012 I had a BMW 1200GS, a Harley Road king and a Norton ES2 but they all had to go.

    The reason I want a “pointless SUV” is that we are both 70 this year and getting in and out of my IS is not impossible but it should be a lot easier with the UX.. That’s my main reason. I have had 6 new Lexus IS’s and I do want a change of style and a little bit smaller. I believe the 4WD option is an electric motor on the back axle which I have no need for so I am hoping I can get a top of the range model in 2WD. like 99% of the people who buy these SUV’s their driveway is as far off road as they will ever go. If it was called a mini estate car would that be more acceptable?

    I bought a trickle charger which I am sharing with my son in law. We bought the CTEC as others advised. I used it for the first time over the weekend as the car has not had much use lately due to the weather and I wanted to try it out. After 7 hours it was showing the green light so I discontented it. The next day when I went out I noticed my hybrid battery was down too 2 bars, which is much lower than normal driving. Any thoughts?

    All the pictures so far have been the sport I think. This looks like the other option, small vents at the front.

    Battery checked today and found to be good. It was just purely lack of use. One thing I did learn today is that if you are away someone just puts the ignition on the car will obviously start but it will stop but the hybrid battery will keep on charging the 12v battery. The biggest battery user while you are away from the car is it continually searching for the key. I have bought a trickle charger though.

    Car going into Lexus on Thursday for the day so they can check to see if the battery is holding it’s charge. I have a BlackVue dash cam with the magic pro which powers down the camera after a set time or voltage. It now powers down 5 minutes after coming home which means it’s going below 12.5 volts very quickly. When it was fitted it would stay live for hours after.

    Came back from a 6 week holiday Saturday 10th and the car battery totally flat. Opened the car with key but nothing. AA called and they got it going quickly. Their meter showed the amps going up so left it with me to go for a drive. Lexus dealer said yes can happen. Will take it to the dealer next week for a battery check. They recommended a trickle charger. I have checked the log on my Blackveiw dash cam and it shows it shutting down on December 28th, holiday early 30th so it’s not that. No more events until yesterday. anybody had similar problems?

    Am I correct in thinking the 12v battery powers all the accessories and the hybrid battery starts the engine?

    Just had Black View front and rear cameras fitted. It came with a power save modual so it records while the car is parked. the unit has several settings and is set at the moment to shut down completely after 12hours or 12v on the battery. lexus dealer not willing to comment on the voltage setting, anybody on here got any experience on the subject.

    Try milk, it worked on my leather suite. Just put a little on a cloth dab it on and rub.

    In the title you say the battery seems ok, do you mean the fob battery? As the most likely cause is the battery in the fob. Plenty of UTube videos on how to change it.
