  1. Looking good Stu. :) Those tips are nice and shiney! Oh, and REAL!! Lol. Very nice chap. Couple of nice toys sir! ;)
  2. Have they actually confirmed they can do this for the UK model ECU's then Stu?? Didn't actually see anything to suggest that on the post Nigel sent you, or on the thread on Club Lexus? SARD are very well known in the Japanese tuning world Stu. They are also renowned for being very expensive unfortunately! ;) Still think we can find a mapping/ECU solution closer to home. I'm also not convinced the re-map they are talking about will maximise the benefits of our better grade fuel, or the induction/exhaust modifications. Nigel even states on the US thread this is still a conservative map, just not as super conservative as the OEM Lexus one.
  3. Nice one Chris! :) Did you see my thread about another Bluewater meet? Would be cool if you can bring yours along for everyone to hear that lovely V8 growl! ;) Hoping to do my exhaust as the next stage of tuning. Can you imagine how nice it would be if you, Stu and I all went through the Dartford tunnel together!! ;) Now there's a nice thought! :)
  4. Lol. Good eye David. :) Just fancied a different perspective. ;) They are very nice looking cars from any angle.
  5. Cheers Andy. :) So we have 3,4 or 5 to work with. Hopefully there will be a few more along soon! ;)
  6. i can do this friday, this sunday, next friday and the afternoon of bank holiday Nice one Roheel. :) Let's see what works for the others, and go from there.
  7. Sorry to hear that Stu. :( You'll be missed mate. Will catch up at the rolling road day I guess. :) Did you want a set of the Precision LED's by the way? They do look the part (not mega bright). Cheers. Peter :)
  8. Right. Let's throw some dates out to see what people can do: 1. This Friday evening (short notice I know!) 2. This weekend (Sat or Sun) 3. Next Friday evening (23rd) 4. Bank Holiday Monday (26th) 5. Friday Evening (30th) Will go with whichever number works for the majority. :) Cheers. Peter
  9. Hey Guys, I unfortunately can't make the June meet Stu is arranging. :( I would however like a chance to sort out another Bluewater meet for anyone who is interested? As some will already know, I am off to LA for a week at the beginning of June. My plan is to bring back some Precision LED lighting kits for IS-F owners that want them. If you would like to 'try before you buy', why not come along to the Bluewater meet and see them in action on my car?? I've managed to get a good discount deal if we can do at least 5 orders (see separate thread for details). Let's start by seeing how many people are up for another meet in the first instance, then we can decide whether we do another morning meet, or maybe we try an evening one instead?? There's another bank holiday coming up as well (26th May), so maybe that could work?? We managed to get 4 ISF's at the last Bluewater meet (5 if you count the one parked in the other car park! Lol), be nice if we could push that closer to 10 at this one! ;) Let me know if you are interested, and any dates that won't work. Thinking either a weekend, or maybe a Friday evening (or anytime on the Monday bank holiday). Cheers guys. Peter :)
  10. Does sound interesting Stu. :) Pricey for what it is though. Shame we can't use the COBB system they use on the GTR. :( I'm still tempted to see what Ryan at 2bar tuning can do with our cars. The SYVECS system they use on Supra's, Skylines, Evo's etc are superb! Again, not cheap though! ;)
  11. Couple more pictures I did this morning. :) Alloys, calipers and tires were cleaned/dressed last night. ;) Just the body to wash/wax this weekend.
  12. No worries mate. ;) Should hopefully have my illuminated door sills, and real carbon pillar trims by then as well. Could be a good time for people to collect their LED kits as well? Will start a new Bluewater meet thread shortly. :)
  13. Thanks Steve. :) The alloys were re-finished in the companies dark anthracite. I think they look OEM though. Another good reason to get a few together I can compare mine with! ;) The company are called Rimtec, and are in Meopham. Takes 3-4 days to do all 4 alloys. Cost is pretty darn reasonable at £255 for the lot (includes VAT etc). They are highly recommended by loads of forums, car clubs, magazines....
  14. Good stuff Steve. :) I'm pretty flexible on the dates mate. Hopefully there will be a couple of dates that will work for most people. :) I'll get a meet thread started tomorrow as well. Cheers. Peter
  15. I did toy with the idea of doing another IS-F only Bluewater meet? Would be in the next couple of weeks to give folks a chance to see my car, and decide if they wanted a set of the LED's? Could do an evening if that would be easier? We also have a bank holiday coming up if that appeals? I'd love to let you guys see the changes to my car. Be cool if Stu can make it along as well, to see what he's had done. :) Think we had 4/5 last time. Be good to get say 8 ISF's together if we can? Let me know what you guys think. Cheers. Peter :)
  16. Right guys. Think I have 4 potential orders so far. Need a fifth to get us the discounted price. I want to place the order in the next few days ideally. I'll be heading out on Sunday 1st June, so we need to sort the order and money out before then. If anyone is unsure, and doesn't mind a drive to my house one evening, you're welcome to come and see my kit in action. These do make a nice improvement to the dim halogens from the factory. I'm hoping at least one of the buyers wants my help with the install. That way I can earn another contributor star by doing a guide for everyone. :) Think Roheel will be back for his install. ;) Any questions, let me know. Cheers. Peter :)
  17. Sorry Jami. :( If you can get a few IS owners interested, I'll try and do another order if you like? Cheers. Peter :)
  18. That's on the rears by the way. Running the Hawk ceramics up front. Very impressed with the feel and bite so far. They feel better than the OEM pads in my opinion. Also generating less brake dust, which was my main reason to buy them.
  19. Lol, yep, calipers painted, new discs and pads, wheels refinished in anthracite, full set of Vredstein tyres. ;) All done in just one week. ;) Just the 6yr/60k service to do in June now. Also got a new set of rear discs and pads on order to really finish it off for a bit. ;) Bloody hell you must have spent a packet , least you will have the piece of mind it shouldn't need all that done again for a long while mate .how much are the hawk pads by the way . Precisely. :) Shouldn't need much doing for a while at least. Hawks were £120 or thereabouts mate. Got them when I was in New Jersey a couple of months ago. ;) I'll chase Hawk again tomorrow for an update on the rears as well. Going for the Porterfield fast road pads for now though. :) Should do the trick.
  20. Lol, yep, calipers painted, new discs and pads, wheels refinished in anthracite, full set of Vredstein tyres. ;) All done in just one week. ;) Just the 6yr/60k service to do in June now. Also got a new set of rear discs and pads on order to really finish it off for a bit. ;)
  21. Cheers. :) Had the vision for it in my head for ages! ;) Finally managed to get it all done the way I wanted it. Don't think anyone will confuse mine with anyone else's! Lol.
