i know £750 is absolutely nothing ,i have told them that i am probably not going to buy on the day and maybe in the next few months i maybe tempted. my partner she has an aygo mmt and the clutch was starting to slip,toyota wanted £800 ish to replace it and i couldn't justify spending that money on a 2009 car so instead i spent £11250 cash on a new aygo for her so money is slightly tighter now than a month ago, i'll just have to wait and see what they can offer me.

On wednesday i have my vip appointment at lexus ,this is where the dealer is closed to the public and you only gain entry with a pass , are the events worth while attending?? all i know at the moment is there's a £750 contribution given to you against the purchase of a new car, i must say it will have to get better than that to make me sign on the dotted line,as i have just bought my partner kath a brand new aygo.

on the drivers door you have the window controls and the lock / unlock rocker switch ,my switch is only illuminated on one side is this normal or has a bulb blown in mine. thanks

i know i am showing my age i listen to radio 2 whilst travelling on the m53 daily, what i do find is that if i use my windscreen washers i get interference on the radio BUT at the dealers its not a problem so there is nothing they can do for me,but i am going to try and find some info on the weak signal areas for radios signals just to see if this is the issue.

i dont have the nav in mine ,i go to the same place day in day out so i dont have the need for it ,i do have a tomtom for the rare times i go somewhere i dont know

the speed camera notifications work by the sat nav being given the longitude and latitude positions for each camera then as you approach a camera it warns you,i am 99% certain that its illegal to have a rader detector fitted to alert you of mobile camera's but here is a site that tells you where the mobile cameras will be hiding,its a requirement for the locations to be published so try this link http://www.speedorsafety.com/the-cameras/

when i come home from work i use it on the last part of my journey as it is mainly downhill and it keeps me at 30mph and also on the batteries for the last mile,its great since i dont have to think about keeping my speed constant. only just come home from work now.

i didnt see anything for cruise control but i did see a setting for the reverse beep your option is just a single beep when reverse is selected or the beep beep beep

i have been told my local lexus dealer that the batteries dont go wrong and the only one they have replaced was due to accident damage as the battery case was creased ,lexus have a 5 year guarantee on the hybrid battery but after that they cost about £1500 to replace so not cheap.

in the newer ct's they have a pad on the centre console by the cup holders ,i dont know if you can buy them ,but i made a pad to fit and it does make a difference it feels so much more comfortable when you rest your arm there,with regards to the door arm rest i find its too low and the front window switches are too far forward as when resting my arm the first switches i find are the rear windows.

this may help you with the space in the glovebox as you can remove the shelf that is in there it just clips in

i know its probably stating the obvious but have you checked your user manual to see if there's anything listed about it.i cant suggest anythink else as i dont have the nav on mine.

at last i am enjoying my ct200h after nearly 4mths of owning it ,last week i removed all door cards made sure all screws where tight and then on top of the plastic water membrane i have spray glued some wadding to help stop the plastic from moving and creaking,and the other is on the pillar for the seat belts ,with all trim removed on the belt piller i have used self adhesive felt and placed it inside of the upper cover to stop the panel that moves with the top seat belt mount from rattling and lastly where the upper and lower panels join they have been felted as well. hey presto nice and quiet just what i expected from a lexus

i personally cant believe that soooo many people have issues with lexus and the issues are mainly small that shouldn't exist.you have paid for a premium brand and car and you should be able to take for granted that certain things like the iphone will work with your handsfree system, you shouldn't have any rattles in the interior paneling, transfering of contacts should be just a push of a button,But lexus just tries to make your life awkward AND this is the only thing they have succeeded in doing.

i have registered an interest in the new model and cannot wait to have a 24hr test drive, only bought my 61 plate in november 2013 and i hope in the new version, the rattles and creaking panels have been addressed by having the chassis bonded rather than welded making the car stiffer,the creaks and rattles is the only reason i want rid of my car as they drive me crazy the other quirks i can live with.

i purchased a set of infinity ref 3002cf speakers off ebay and are in great condition but when i replaced the original dash speakers they sounded terrible as you lost alot of volume from the front speaker on the same side so i have put the original back in its place,today i have been looking at info for the cars 6 speaker system and have come across a radio setting condenser ( capacitor) what does it do, what is it for ??? can anyone help me.

i have tried a few different frequencies and for the last week it has been ok,maybe the route i take is in a weak reception area for the frequency that i have been tuned into and changing frequency has now giving me the best freqency for the area. thank-you for all replys

i am surprised that the iphone wont work with the lexus as the iphone in general sets the standards and works with everything ,and so it should with the cost of one brand new iphone. maybe apple should bring some backward compatibility into their phones so then they are as good as they think they are.
