  1. I'm guessing so. Really didn't get chance to try her out properly yesterday. Way too much traffic around. She's tucked up in bed now (i.e. in my garage).
  2. All this talk of driving. I fancy a trip to the Mach Loop.
  3. I've had a think about this. Setting the scenes, it probably went a bit like this. X-Wife - "Are you having junior this weekend?" IS-F Driver (Dad) - "No, I am taking my car on to the drag strip". X-Wife thinks the IS-F is just a normal 4 door car. Dad was clever to hide actual cost of vehicle ;) If X-Wife knew that car cost XXXXX and was a thirsty V8, X-Wife would come to conclusion that IS-F Driver (Dad) was rich. BAD THING. X-Wife - "Junior would love to do that" IS-F Driver (Dad) - "He's only 3 and would be bored stupid. I really don't think it is a good idea." X-Wife - "No, he'd love it. You can pick him up at 5:00pm on Friday night. Bye". The 'Bye' statement is optional depending how good the relationship between dad and X-Wife is. Phone line goes dead........
  4. Lovely moment where a dad gives his son some great memories. Trouble is that the kid looks bored sh**less. :)
  5. I once replaced the rack on my 1978 Opel Kadett Estate (1196 cc!). But these days............forget it. The other thing to remember is that IF the new rack has not sorted out the issue, then I just go back to Lexus. Once Lexus had fitted the new rack, I set about the more difficult job of attaching some new plates. I used a screwdriver, a drill and TWO drill bits. That basically exhausted my tool box..... and me! If I've done a bad job, a plate falls off. Imagine if I'd set about the rack myself!
  6. Cheers bud :) I'm currently sat in a cafe (AV8), feeling very happy about it :) @Mark G @Big Rat @emjay82 @Rusty Crobar , where are you?
  7. Nice to see it is a blue one with white leather being ragged. Don't see many blue cars with white leather @Mark G ;)
  8. I bought my F back in June, with about 44k on the clock. Within a month a noticed some oddities with the steering, The symptoms only showed on the motorway and were particularly noticeable in marginal conditions e.g. windy days. You can read up on the full symptoms on the US forum via this link, but in short when making lane changes the steering could exhibit a notchy feeling, exactly as described in L-SB-0016-11. I picked up the car from the dealer this morning. The good news is that it looks like the issue has been fixed. The bad news, £3.5K for a new steering rack. Thank you Lexus warranty! I thought I'd share this with you all just in case you come across the issue in the future!
  9. Well she won't like you lot of fossil burning, bunny rabbit murdering V8 drivers - that's for sure!
  10. Night night. Check that blue beauty is locked up nice and tight!
  11. BIG BALLS :) My NX runs on electricity you know. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh............
  12. I'm seriously thinking of putting super unleaded in the IS-F one day (if I ever get it back from the menders). 430BHP in a Evora -
  13. You are all hooligans!!! Life with the Lexus NX is so much more tranquil. :)
  14. Hmmm - 300 miles of hard driving and I need a coffee!
  15. Oh god, why did it have to be silver. Poor little thing!
  16. You are a legend. That is awesome. MAN - my car has never been that clean ;) I couldn't help notice how many blue IS-Fs there are on that site.
  17. I think the link to Lexus is thin. Not as thin as @Big Rat's Guinness however :)
  18. .....and I picked the advert because Kylie used to do Lexus ads. What has Guinness got to do with Lexus? ;)
