  1. No clearance issues for me. I'll get a couple of pics tomorrow matey.
  2. Not too long before you wake the neighbourhood with a good dose of H&S's finest exhaust
  3. 275/30 rears and 245/35 fronts few guys on here have done it, no clearance issues
  4. Hi Ray, nothing detrimental. I think the main difference is the brand. I swapped out old bridgestone potenzas for Michelin ps4s. Night and day difference, very stable, massive dry grip, wet grip has far exceeded my expectations. The size suits the car a lot better, fills the arches and gives a little bit more rim protection. I would recommend if yours are due a change. matt
  5. That's great Pete, many thanks for sorting out the discount as well as the collection. still interested, let me know how much and I'll drop the cash round. thanks again, Matt
  6. See what your saying, but in my situation the regret would come from using a 5ltr v8 to sit in traffic jams on my way in and home from work, plus having kittens about parking it at work. All my miles will be pleasure miles so I don't have to be concerned about fuel returns, just finding clear roads to stretch its legs.
  7. As Nick has said, it will be more expensive to run an isf as a daily driver. Depends how much you want it really. The other option is to run a cheap car for your daily commute. I go to work in a 2007 1.4 Ford Fiesta, very slow, but very cheap to run. I don't have to take anybody out in it for work so it doesn't matter. Makes the drive in the isf all the more special to me. if running an isf won't tie you up financially I'd certainly recommend it. matt
  8. All good David thanks, hope you are too, only gently nudging you in the exhaust direction! I'm confident you'll get it done. Not really sure how my mark Levinson system sounds as it's always off whilst I listen to the car. still enjoying every drive, all the best, matt
  9. Time you booked the appointment David! You know it makes sense! matt
  10. Paul, it was a copy of the Joe z system if i recall. It was fitted to the car when I bought it. Gibletph owned it and had it made. As mentioned it did have a switchable bypass on the near side back box. This valve was seized, so I had it cut out and a new section welded in. Secondary cats are removed, through an x pipe and twin pipes down the run of the car, going off to two small silencers. This has retained the standard tips. Not quite as aggressive as the H&S system but makes a nice noise. looks similar to the pic below. matt
  11. No. Toms air filter and secondary de cat exhaust system. I had the switchable exhaust valve removed as it didn't work properly. Oversized tyres all round too. Just been serviced by Lexus Canterbury who gave it a clean bill of health, commented on how nice the exhaust was and were happy to warrant the car for two years!
  12. Add me to the list please big rat. Very interested in this. cheers matt
  13. Know what you mean Derrick, had my isf serviced on Tuesday, sat in their rc f sport, I'm 6'4", no chance my son could get in behind me, we did try though! Looks like I better start Saving for a GSF! Plenty of room in that.
  14. Hope no damage was done to the car or the rim mate. Had you hit something in the road?
  15. Had a little play with an Audi rs3 this afternoon. He slowly eased away from me. Think he was surprised there was a Lexus still in his mirror! He slowed and pulled over, think it was to have a look what I was driving. We then had a couple more pulls, similar result, he slowly eased away. Not a lot in it though. Looking at the specs of the rs3 I would hope he wasn't standard! Didn't sound like it was from the exhaust note. Good fun though.
  16. Good to meet you Andrew, welcome to the fold! glad you didn't look at me like a strange man knocking on your door! good to have another in the South East
  17. That's the one! Looks nice. I'll go and say hello at some point
  18. My oldest son has just called me on his bike ride. Looks like we've found Dr Ricks car ! Only five minutes from me. How many more black isf's can you get in one area! I'll go and say hello next time I'm out in mine, tell him about the forum.
  19. Good find big rat! Shame we were out having a gentle drive round! good spot by there man. Cars looking great in the sun
  20. Very nice, is that the rsvr, ohlins and oz wheels? Very nice bike. allways lusted after a two stroke as well. I look a bit gangly on one though! both for the road or are you going to track one? enjoy them both matt
  21. Great to meet up gents, thanks for the ride out Pete. Something else is all I can say . Fantastic noise and pull. Don't know about you David, but mine felt a little subdued on the way home!! have a funny feeling you'll be calling H&S soon. fantastic looking cars, both of them. look forward to seeing you at the next one. matt
