I just called Lexus and they confirm I have hids but I have no headlight washer which is interesting. Just to confirm though how does a Lexus healdigbt washer look like. Cos I have a panel on the front of the drivers side but this looks more like a tow point Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

Cannot say I have noticed this as I rarely drive at night. I do no have AFS though and I know this cos I have the AFS light blinking and the sensor. which I read should mean Xenons. Or am I wrong. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

Hey guys and apologies for asking this question but am confused as hell on bulbs I need. I want to upgrade my lights to 6000k as I find my current set up below par to my focus in terms of brightness. I have am se-l with AFS which from what I have read means I have Hid. But then again no headlight washers so am not sure. Can someone advise if I will need a hid conversion kit or just a straight swap. Also I am guessing 6000k leds headlight bulb does not mean it is Hid. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

I bet you are. It looks stunning. Are those g spider wheels? I'm in no hurry to part with my current is250 at the moment but when the time comes my next lexus will almost certainly be the RC. Advice needed on Lowering

so i decided to just get the wheels exchange with a like for like service for now as i have 4 new tyres, i would lower on the 17s but will be eibach as they do not drop the car too much like say H&R to make the wheels look small, with some spacer included it will look just right, then when time comes i will just get 18s and new tyres and i can sell off the current wheels and make back some of the money. -
Ah great news then if another member here can vouch for them. I was initially planning to wait to get 18s but then that will mean me getting wheels plus new tyres when I already have 4 new tyres although budget. So double expense Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

If anyone is interested in an affordable to get refurbished alloys done to a high standard with powder coating and over baked and painted match the OEM wheels as close as possible this is the place to go. my mate just got his done for his Merc ML and the job is very good he swears by them, I have scehduled my is250 in for next week as my current wheels as peeling and kerbed, all for wheels £288. i personally think this is a good deal compared to refurbing all 4, like for like exchange https://www.fawheels.co.uk/

window wind deflectors, i know they look like somethinig for grandads but really do help -
do not be put off by the above Sando, i joined this forum just a few weeks ago and i find them to be very helpful and knowledgeable people. I have already fixed my windows and read up on loads of other stuff on here.

i have the afs light on already, i have used the usual troubleshooting guides on here and no results, i have to book it for a diagnostic check as the car is recorded as a cat d so probably something is loose somewhere or just not aligned. just looking for small mods nothing major -
Hello all, I have a dilemma and i need some opinions on best way to handle it. I am thinking of lowering my Is250 using H&R springs but I have the stock 17" alloys which need refurb and but they have 4 new tyres on although budget they are sitll brand new and here is my dilemma. First option: Exchange alloys for like for like and lower on 17s and change tyres to better grade later OR Second Option: Lower as it is with spacers on, then save up and get 18" and better grade tyres later on.

Could not get step by step pictures of what happened as I had to be working while he worked but what he did was just lay the new digitized on top of the old one in th casing and connected the new one ribbons. Reason for this is that you cannot remove the old digiztizer as it is stuck on. Everything works perfectly and the LCD is in place snug no movement. Hope that helps? Hello Allm so far loads of help on this forum when i search but cannot see a definitive answer for this. I have an IS250 SEL fully specced with Memory seats, but i cannot seem to know how to set the the side mirrors to fold when i lock the car. if i manually fold them in and start the car they fold out and i also have a buttong to fold in when in the car for tight spaces etc. my thinking if i have memory seats and the swtich to fold in then it should auto fold when i lock the car or am i missing something here
