  1. Had a bit of a moment thought I'd upgrade my 7 year old battery after having the car in storage over the winter and mistakingly assumed the terminals were on the same sides as the OEM battery unfortunately that proved to be a big xxxx up and sparks went flying! Anyway I've managed to round it down to the fusible link next to the battery after a lot of testing, my question is, is the link the same across the IS series or is the one for the ISF specific? Any help would be very much appreciated.
  2. No problem it's nice to see a project like this taking shape, Definitely the right choice wouldn't mind a shade like that on my calipers.
  3. Just had email about this it's confirmed for the 5th may there's also a couple of other shows throughout the rest of the year I've added the ISF to the list if you have a different model such as an RCF you have to request them to add it on the list. I'll wait untill next week to see who's interested before I buy a ticket as it'd be nice to park in a group.
  4. Cheers Toothy, excellent Dan, it's a while away yet but I'm a definite we need to get these cars out and about more it still surprises me just how many folk don't know about the F side of lexus even supposed hardcore petrol heads
  5. As title be nice to have a little club stand looks to have an interesting bit of machinery in attendance too https://www.sportscarsinthepark.co.uk
  6. Thanks for the advice, yes it's a breathable one had it made by a company in Nottingham I think it was,I take it off once a week sometimes two and start it up let it tick over for an hour with a little drive around the industrial estate if weathers ok to keep brakes from seizing on. Really planning on keeping for life so that's why I use as an occasional second car as it's the best car I've owned by a long shot, not the fastest or best handling but you can't beat the reliability and build quality compared with other brands which it's supposed to compete with not to mention the rare factor is also what attracted me.
  7. Same, mines under a cover garaged up untill springs comes, winter is not the Fs friend at all I wouldn't wish to drive such a powerful rwd car in winter conditions one bit of unsalted ice and that's it plus factor rust in and it makes even more sense to buy a rotbox to me.
  8. Get a cheap little econo box for commuting and use the ISF as a toy turns out way cheaper than paying for fuel on a V8 everyday plus if your running something boring everyday, every time you take a journey in the ISF it'll never disappoint and feel like your launching a rocket!
  9. Nice little guide that john will definitely be using it in the future 👍
  10. I'd quite like spike his drink before one of these reviews he does with a few drops of lsd I'd probably be able to bare him then 😂

  12. www.mysanantonio.com/news/us/article/Ford-and-Cadillac-SUVs-Toyota-sports-car-star-at-13532112.php Got to say I'm not a fan it looks too awkward the lines are allover the place the roof line looks too high, big disappointment coming from the last supra in my opinion
  13. Yes I've heard there pretty capable engines I'd probably be forging it i can't get the white ones with compomotive mo6s on out of my mind looks like I'm going to be doing a lot more work this year to fund my addictions!
  14. Like them not for the ISF though more suited to R32 r33 gtr I reckon oh just realised it says gtr in the add same thinking! Off topic I'm currently looking for an st205 gt4 had any experience with them?

  17. Cheers Dan your a star thing is I don't know the offset so just been guessing it's that's same as the 350 in the pics I think I'm going to drive down Sunday and do a test fit I've already got some spacers fitting on my oems so that should help a bit bit of a bloody trek though Southampton from my end near Doncaster im starting to have my doubts surely he would be able to measure the offset I've seen it done with a few rulers!
