  1. Cheers mate yes I'm looking forward to it, should have fathomed out the perfect settings by then.
  2. Thanks paul, yes I must have been there over an hour chatting about cars Im seriously thinking about getting a gt86 as a another toy to add to my list they had a nice selection there, he was on about the ISF he used to own said he was trying to evolve parts for the car but there wasn't enough interest, shame really as the stuff he was showing me that they'd developed was top notch would be interesting to see what could have been done.
  3. After owning my ISF for a while now I've never really been happy with the suspension especially on long distances and cornering at speed, I was dedicated to go with the ohlins setup but after a few recommendations of teins I did a bit of research and decided to go with the flex z with edfc active pro and GPS which basically means I can control the damping rates manually on the control panel or set it up via GPS which allows whatever preferences you prefer such as stiffening up during acceleration and loosening when travelling at a slower rate. I've ran a lot of different suspension setups in the past on various different performance vehicles but I've always considered tein to be a bit of a cheap option however on first impressions I'm blown away by the response when changing damping rates its instant, the GPS setup is amazing you can feel the car gradually tighten up as you accelerate it corners superb I'm only two days into setting it up but I'm already over the moon with how it's transformed the ride. Had a nice three hour test drive home from fensport on Saturday using b roads all the way, was also great to meet Adrian who owns fensport a top guy with a lot of nice machinery knocking about not to mention a lot of knowledge about motors I'll definitely be using their services again.
  4. This sounds more interesting than the way the threads going at the moment, partial to a bit of gap myself 😂
  5. That would probably be enough to put a lot of people off driving ever again, I hope your ok from it all now though? .
  6. Wow your a lucky guy surviving that! Out of interest was that once an xr3i cabriolet?
  7. Is it me or do all new performance cars sound the same almost fake in a weird way
  8. Years ago I was happy if my cars made it to 60! I do enjoy a launch now n then though, not sure if mines gone down since I've got headers exhaust and the rr intake and tune installed so I suppose what I'm saying is its important to me even my dailys tuned up and does it in around 6 seconds and I can fit a wardrobe in that!
  9. Mate get a job writing for a car mag your more than qualified !
  10. I'm going to have to invent a new meme for this so here goes " do you even drive"?
  11. It's not important to me at all,I think it all depends on how the cars been designed for driving such as a MK1 golf GTi which is in my opinion is more exciting than a 325i E30 BMW to drive and cheaper to own at that, I just wish I'd never have sold both of these cars now I'd be sitting on a small fortune!
  12. +1 I've just ran a set of toyos on mine and they were great are you speaking from experience Lina's?
  13. The seats look like they've got identical bolstering to the ISF I quite like a bit of alcantara too
  14. Was very tempted to go to this but I'm not really a fan of long journeys on our roads, I've not got much hair left as it is and after a four and half hour trip there I'm pretty sure my personal aerodynamics would have improved even further could always rock the trump look though 😀
  15. I've got both mine spare hanging in the garage theve been coated black though don't know if that's any good for you?
  16. Afternoon NIck, had a few Audi's and a lot of other German stuff myself but these cars are in another league when it comes down to reliability compared to the aforementioned the problem will be what you do with the money you save not fixing things every two minutes ☺
  17. Had a good read up on these and the edfc active pro it sounds like a great bit of kit I like the idea of being able to instantly change the damping levels in car and how you can program it to change when you reach certain speeds I think this will be a winner on the ISF so cheers for the link much appreciated!
  18. I can imagine the traction issues been watching a few charged ISF videos it definitely looks like better tyres/diff would help a lot .Still looks almost OEM under there very tidy job indeed.
  19. Funny you should say that the guy I messaged on eBay recommended tein
  20. Not a problem thank you for treating my ears. 900bhp!!! That I've got to see and save for 😁.I've just had an exhaust fitted with valvetronic and ordered the rr racing intake and tune so im excited to see the difference it makes. How's the car running now we're in summer?
  21. I wish I'd have seen these not logged in for a while think they've sold now
  22. Wow is all I can say got to be the best sounding ISF I've heard
