  1. Eh No! You cannot just conduct a pnc check for anyone that comes into a station with an intetest on a car.
  2. I cannot do that for "personal interest". people have been sacked for less.
  3. 210bhp standard RS200 Toyota Altezza (Jap imported version of IS200), then add the kit onto the 210bhp?
  4. 114k, 2001x. 38000 miles a year over last 3 years! I would have bid on it, no doubt. My import cost me £7000.
  5. is your head unit single din (letterbox) or double din. the part number refered above from the toyota dealer directly sourced from japan is an open face double din sized. i'll do a pic again! if this is nt suitable, autoleads do a fascia (email them, trust me they have one), that is double din sized but has a single plastic strip to divide it into two sepeate spaces for two single din units, or single din and single blanking plate etc. One prob dont think colour match is good. the one below is the double din blanking plate, with a large hole and no middle divider for single din units, (breathe) from toyota, part number is 55413-53010, any dealer can source this. last time i host the pic, will link to this thread next time.
  6. beat me to it colin. Yes, got my Iridium power Denso IK20's in post today, fitting them in 10 mins £35 quid odd. Took only 4-5 days for delivery. Return them plugs to halfords, ya know you want to.
  7. Ah, but as stated.... He's not a traffic officer, so that would be too technical for him. If he's walking the beat, ask him if he's a probationer and how long he's been in the job (I would place a bet on this if he's not in the panda cars) 10 weeks street duties course pounding the beat for most new officers.
  8. print this thread out for him next time you meet...................
  9. As per my replies in the quote, though, fairs fair, I would deal with you at the time, give you a fixed penatly, or not at all thereafter after the first warning. Go to his boss if you feel a definite grievance, or ask him if he wants a lexus as I said before, sweet talk him up with the car, he may then become a mate, and turn his eye next time, with a mutual appreciation of the beautiful car you own.... Id liike to think were all still human out of the uniform, and like most males, love being petrol heads and enjoying cars
  10. my decat would be for the fact that the cat replacement is very expensive and I live the edge with no warranty (would warrantydirect give me one for an import?) My idea would be for hopeful restriction gains on a straigt through pipe, and to store the cat in the garage, ready for the once annually when it comes round. Will this destroy the cat quicker being stored or save it?
  11. I agree Take the conversation away from the "tiny" light issue. The worst is that you could probably get a £30 fixed penalty ticket and no points. But there is only so many times he can warn you without action, then two things are hapening, he either doesnt have any guts to give u a ticket or he is dare I say becoming a bit of an annoying, harassing man. Anyway, take the conversation away from the lights, let him know how good the car is and that you know a couple of Co*p*rs with them who think they are top cars Me, Dodgy and MetserveUK and drop that these guys are good blokes, blah, use the gift mate. As I say if he cnt make a decision it is becoming a continual nusiance (shouldnt be here with this, but being fair).
  12. cheers ifraz, done that. was just that after seeing another site is300.com, i wondered what else there was on the net, us, aus, uk etc. for dedicated sites and also deciated suppliers sites
  13. Ah, the mix up was where I was thinking about the "team lexus" member stickers prior to the current loc stickers
  14. gravesends quiet then. Working in a Trident borough and seeing thousands of cars a day with total gridlock on the roads in the area, I'd be choosy to pick a smart, clean looking car over the MANY more slaggy cars driving about worth stopping. P I C K Y! But yes, not as the DVLA state should be. I think my new lights emit a blue glow :P
  15. So I am slowly learning about clublexus.com (is this the US version of this club, and was this once know nas clublexus or similar?) www.lextacy.com www.is300.net altezzasportsandprestige www.lextech.org? Please add others for the difinitive list of all time!?!

  20. for £9.98 incl p&p. These are the bulbs that you see on an "IS200 or "IS 200" search on ebay.co.uk There have been some indiferent comments at them not being the best bulbs,,,,, but over the "standard" oem bulb, for £9.98 they make a good improvement. GET SOME. took 4 days to arrive from canada, no extra taxes etc. pics. as you look at front of car, left one is the new bulb, right cluster is original oem bulb (slighter yellow tinge-more noticable difference in reality) left right
