    Was working till 8pm up in Top End of Wembley (Sudbury), but due to unforseen circumstances and residents of Brent, I was off late at 2230hrs. Had planned to drive there at 8pm. Try next month now....................

    i am humbled and embarassed to have been the bain of this trouble. pictyre removed. but I like my piccies. How can I do them again without this happening?

    yep. RS200. Shorter engine when looking at it (4 cylinders), and you see the black cap end for the cambelt at the front of the engine. The AS200, (mine) has a big air intake cover over the top of the engine as same as the UK IS200. I was watching that car too out of interest. I got my AS200 for £6995 off ebay, but it has less power than your beast and no triptronic.

    yeah. mine not visible from above. A phone call to a very helpful LEXUS HATFIELD service dept on SATURDAY MORNING. Result, have to take off the front underengine tray. Then can find it set back from the Alternator (I think its the alternator) Hidden behind a mainframe, solid looking structutre beam piece holding the weight of the engine and gearbox

    tommo...............no it only comes with a blanking plate over the large opening which you remove, not individual spacers for two seperate din units.

    wayhey go. Glad I was educated by you Fargo, as I was so close to clicking "buy it now" on this "led auto design" product. who is the "better" rival again? And, where do you live in Middlesex as I work particularly in Brent, and I havent seen your car about?

    "perfect" is a strong word......... No, it is slightly off colour, but I really mean "slightly" . i can live with it. Best thing is that it solved my UK stations issue. Funny thing is, when I took out the japanese part stereo, it did have an FM modualtor band extendor thingy, but it was not working i think, cause I couldnt get my Heart 106.2's and kiss 100's. Now I have a full FM band range and I am happy :D

    OK Ta, Havent looked yet. Leaving it for the weekend. When I change my oil, I have always liked to spend a few quid on a brand new sump plug and washer for the sake of doing so. (I guess the UK IS200 sump plug will be the same, or maybe there is a cheaper "toyota" part number? Where were alkl those part numbers listed on this site?)

    Any pics? I have bought some nice 5w 30 oil and have a filter ready for a change as I have no service history with the car and dont know when it was last done. Where is it on the car to replace?

    this is one thing that BM has over on us, their current cars recharge the key, and when booked in service, the current mileage is recorded in the key!

    I borrwed an 04 IS200 manual sprt for the day, this steering was light and responsive. I then test drove an Altezza RS200 (210bhp 4 cyl), and found the steering heavey. But the Altezza AS200 (153bhp) i settled on, has lighter sterring as per the uk spec. Doesnt help, but that is my bit..................
