  1. No problem at all 😁 Yeah it will sit over most things, definitely recommend Reload, I've used almost everything on the market 'quick detailer' wise and I just come back to reload time and time again, and now I wont use anything else, and over time and after each application the surface gets slicker and glossier and if course adds protection.
  2. Fitted my seatbelt cushions today, I like these as they are identical to the seats, with the holes etc, they match perfectly 👌
  3. Yeah once those unsightly marring and scratches have been removed it's a different vehicle, on any car, then ensuring the paint is taken care of correctly afterwards the car will always look it's best after a clean. My Lex only got a wash yesterday but I finished it in CarPro Reload, if you haven't tried it, please do, it is an incredible product.
  4. Haha that's exactly what I mean, a four+ hour 'quick clean' the wives love it don't they 😂 The paint is typical Japanese, quite thin and soft, but does seem to be much better quality than Honda, Subaru and the like, I'm very much looking forward to booking some time off and dedicating to the car, it does require correction but being silver hides it very well. I agree, wouldn't have been my first choice in colour, but fully prepared and protected silver paint does look stunning and incredible glossy.
  5. Good evening all I didn't think it would be this long until I posted again but work and renovating a house mean very little time for the Lex sadly 😫 The car has been filthy and I've hated it, I haven't even had the time to fit all the little bits I've bought for it, apart from the new number plates, I fitted these today. So I had a spare few hours to tickle the outside and fit my new naughty tinted raised gel number plates 🙈 And my new tinted, raised gel lettering number plates, I have these on every vehicle I have, got them on the van too, really freshens things up, they are naughty, and Mr plod probably wouldn't be too happy if they were bored and wanted something to do, but 🤷‍♂️ Some 'arty' ones Hoping to get a few more bits fitted over the weekend 😊
  6. On some cars it's quite normal to have warning lights on after a battery has got so low, on landrovers after battery trouble some light up like an Xmas tree! Thankfully you have a quality vehicle 😏 The light will either go off itself after a run or it may need a diog machine to switch it off.
  7. I really hope its just the battery, it would be such a shame if you lost confidence and gave it back, fingers crossed for you mate.
  8. Sorry to hear of the trouble you are having, I too straight away presumed a battery issue, I would definitely replace it though just to be sure, do you have a local Halfords in your area, I'm sure you could pick one up, and hopefully someone could give you a lift there/back. If this isn't the issue I'm at a loss, I hope you get it sorted 😫
  9. Evening all So the majority of the parts I've been ordering have arrived, the first thing I fitted was the rear boot struts, wow what a difference, I can now lift it up with a single finger, well worth the purchase and I highly recommend it if you haven't done this already. I thought this was pretty cool, just looking round the car the other day I noticed the protective wrapping from new was still on the nearside rear door's sill kick plate 😳 I'll be mainly fitting the bits at the weekend so plenty of updates then 😬
  10. Just did this on mine, brilliant, can now lift the tailgate with a single finger 👌
  11. I changed mine today too, lovely to open, just stiffer to close now 🤣
  12. No I can't seem to be able to watch it, I've pressed on it but no video plays, the same happened with mine so I ended up doing it through youtube above.
  13. 🤣🤣🤣 sorry I'm getting confused, doesnt take much 🙈
  14. I've posted a video above, check it out, it's really obvious on there, like a small grinding noise....
