  1. And other marks gone too. Both bumpers got scuffed with ***** parking. All gone. Really pleased with the way it cleaned up.
  2. Due to being so busy with work this while I never got around to giving the 300h it's annual spring tidy up with the detar and polish. It was also starting to gather more than its fair share of scrapes and car park dings. So off it went to a local detailer for a paint correction and wax. Money well spent.
  3. 0w20 as the book recommends. Why not try a reputable local motor factors rather than an online crowd of clowns who would sell you anything. That way if your indie has a problem or is unhappy with the quality you can simply go exchange it.
  4. If you have folding while driving issues it's the white acc+ wire to move. I took my acc+ link from a fine grey wire on the window switch. You can test it switches with the accessory mode with a test lamp. If you are up for cutting the plugs off your kit and tapping into your own door loom i can tell you what wires to go where. sadly I'm too dislexic to read them pin diagrams with plugs in mirror image without the kit and car in front of me. Its really not difficult to wire it would have just been nicer if it was plug and play. Give it a go and see what works and take it from there. Or if you aren't confident post the whole kit to me and il modify the kit and test it on my own car and post it back to you.
  5. It's not to shut the window it's to automatically fold the mirrors. And yes it's worth it if you see the cost to replace one if some scrote bashes it off
  6. Correct. As I've no access to lhd car I can't tell if it will be on the same pin or not. But if they told when the car locks while driving the white acc+ wire will be the issue.
  7. OK from the issues you describe it looks like the pink wire needs moved to sort the lock in one press issue. The white wire is for acc+ if your having problems with the mirrors closing while the car is on this wire will require moving. Was this a rhd car On the above picture with the wire plugged into the door lock? Rhd car should have a thicker red wire going to the door lock and this is the wire you would link the pink wire to.

  9. Bump thread for attention of those trying to fit.
  10. Can you confirm or post a picture of how many wires are on the new module. I can only see 4 in the picture. I've done this on my car but no plug in loom was available at the time. I done a write up on it but without pictures. If you post a pic of the module wires and any instructions you have I Will try to assist on what should be where for rhd.
  11. My Volvo has a golden retriever in the boot, that usually creates a strong smell alright 🤣
  12. I wouldn't be going straight for the ecu I'd be checking one of the sensors isn't shorting internally first.
  13. Glad to see someone finally made a plug in loom for this. I fitted a universal one and done a write up on it a few years ago but it had to be spliced in as no plug and play options existed
  14. I've 235 35 19 all round and no problems
  15. Yeah but tell my wife that! She's looking at an m4 next and Id really rather not!
  16. I wish there was a 4th gen. Were 3.5 years in and due a change in 18 months. We still like Ares and although We like the brand but don't want the same car.
  17. It's not so much the milage that wears them it's more the steel pits with age. Area plays a big part, Scottish car will need discs sooner than a southern one. And the more milage on them the more the rust gets burnt off as to spreading.
  18. That rear door is the wrong shade. If it was lighting the rear half of the side skirt would match the door. It does not. The door has been painted edge to edge instead of blended witch takes a considerable more amount of effort
  19. The other is the loom from the car. Powers grounds accelerator pedals canbus and other inputs. I think the fact you have to ask what it does you should leave the plugs alone.
