  1. Why are some spectators clapping after the impact?!
  2. As far as I know, it's illegal for motorcyclists to filter on the zigzag lines and they can be given points and a fine for doing so (if caught by the Police of course).
  3. I installed this tonight and it's so quick and simple to use. It seems great for audio as I only ever use P2P for songs every now and then.
  4. http://www.clubturbo.net/gsxrstua.WMV How stupid?!
  5. An update: I've noticed my noise only seems to happen once the brakes have been used a few times from cold. I took the wheel off last night for an initial inspection. I couldn't see anything odd and the noise wasn't there when you turned the hub while jacked up. The brake pad is no where near worn. My Dad used a screwdriver to skim the inner and outer edges of the break disc and the squeaking has lessened. We're going to have another look on Friday and take the caliper off this time and give everything a good clean. Hopefully servicing the brakes will resolve it. I'm glad it doesn't appear to be anything more complex or expensive.
  6. I used to use Kazaa Lite until a few months ago. I kept getting spyware from it and noticed the amount of users had dropped considerably.
  7. You should find plenty of useful information in my first thread too: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...howtopic=14638& I got a black one with the standard sport alloys, and 10" wide rears, thankfully they're in good condition and no vibration. Feel free to have a look at my garage (link below).
  8. I have the Steel mate PTS800MN front and rear Parking Detection System. Both front and rear have their own sensors (four each) and LED display which show left and right readings along with the distance in metres (F: 1.00-0.3, R: 1.49-0.3) and audible warning. The front display is mounted in the centre of the dash and the rear one is mounted in the centre of the roof lining at the back and you view this in your rear view mirror. They had to be drilled, four in the front and four in the rear bumber, but they're not very big or pretruding and as my car's black they blend in nicely. They do different colour ones and they can be sprayed to match your car without affecting their performance. Very accurate and I'm happy with it.
  9. I like these sorts of films and I'll probably just buy the DVD of this, once I determine which is the best version.
  10. I haven't had chance to get the wheel off yet, but it's as you describe. It's driving me nuts, so the sooner I take a look the better.
  11. The Clifford car alarm I've had on my previous two cars has a feature like this, it shrieks when it detects movement near the car to warn that it's armed and the sensitivity of it can be adjusted.
  12. Thanks for the information and the PM. It's a pulsing squeak as opposed to a constant sound and it's there when coasting, cornering, reversing, smooth or bumpy roads; all at slow speeds. I can't hear any sraping, just squeaking. If it is the pads, I was going to change the front ones along with the discs anyway, so now could be the time. I'll take the wheel off and have a proper look.
  13. Can anyone offer any advice on a really annoying squeak that is emitting from the front near side please? It's there when driving at slow speed and up to 20-30 mph, but it's not there when braking. So far no amount of cleaning without removing the wheel has stopped it. Is it just break dust that needs the wheel off to remove it or is there more to it, hopefully not as it's not there when braking. None of the other corners emit this noise. Thanks in advance.
  14. Sorry to see that! Why do there have to be so many careless people?!
  15. One extreme to the other. Welcome! I own a Series I Sport and I love it: reliable and comfortable. The Series II has a better spec, more interior appointments etc. Enjoy.
  16. I don't know if you've seen this before: http://stores.ebay.com/BISHOP-LUCCIO
  17. That's scary! I'm glad you're okay. I have no suggestions though I'm afraid.
  18. Nissan 300ZX Z32: Either a manual normally aspirated two seater or a UK auto twin turbo. Nissan Skyline R34. Audi A8 4.2 Quattro or S8. I also quite like the most recent Honda Prelude, 2.2 VTI auto.
  19. I called Autoglass today and they're sending someone out to fit a new rear screen as soon as possible. The glass has to be ordered and they said it would be original Toyota/Lexus glass. All I have to pay is the excess. Phew!
  20. My policy says I only pay the £50 excess providing I use one of their approved companies. Do I need to speak to my insurer first or do I just go through the windscreen company?
