  1. Would like to "borrow" someones Lexus IS220d for a day. TOM's want to test their Linear Throttle System on a euro spec IS220d. Its a device which improves the throttle response of the car (doesnt increase power or torque) It has 4 settings and is a nice unobtrusive bit of kit. Deal is you'd take the car to the workshop (either Horsham or Glossop) the part would be fitted (1 hour) you'd then drive your car trying out the different settings to see if it did what it said on the tin. We would then remove the item. For your trouble I'll let you have a nice hi-flow TRD oil filter for your IS220d
  2. Got one chap who has had to pull out due to mechanical failure. Rather than him loose his money any one from here want to buy his place ?? You know you want to,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  3. Brake lines are good. I myself think the supra upgrade is a waste of time as the caliper size increase is marginal. They are also heavy like the IS2 ones......... Aftermarket are alloy so lighter and enable much larger rotors to be used. reducing unsprung weight is a "cheap" way of getting extra bhp
  4. Adrian Smith from Fensport will now becoming in his TRD Spec Celica 190......... Should be even better as he's one hell of a pilot

NEVER DRIVE ON THE COURSE IN A REVERSE DIRECTION OVERTAKING ON TRACK IS NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TIMING, COURSE & FLAG SIGNALS Javelin will be using the latest Microgate timing equipment. Infra red photocells are positioned at the start and finish of each course and as your vehicle breaks the infrared beam the timing computer records your time to an accuracy of 1,000th of a second. The unit then feeds the time for each competitor directly into a PC. This eliminates any human input error and speeds up running time. The specialist software then collates your time automatically and allows us to print a full list of results at anytime throughout the event. Note - NO TYRE WARMING, SPINNING WHEELS etc is allowed. Non-compliance equals exclusion from the event. The start procedure s taken care of by a traffic light based system. 1. As you approach the start line you will positioned the correct distance from the timing beams. By a marshal. 2. Next the RED light will come on to show that the course is ready and you should prepare to launch. 3. At 5 seconds to go a YELLOW light will be shown followed by a 5 second countdown of reducing pixels 4. Once the GREEN light is on you are free to launch. The timing equipment records your time from when you break the infrared beam, not when the green light comes on. YELLOW TAKE CARE – SLOW DOWN Hazard ahead. Reduce speed and have full control of the vehicle. - Be prepared to stop if required RED DANGER - EXTREME CAUTION – Significant reduction in speed required. Slow down immediately. Watch out for emergency vehicles. Proceed to the paddock exercising extreme caution. Be prepared to stop. In exceptional circumstances. The organisers may consider a rerun.
