I previously had the same problem, get bored of the car after 6 months to a year. No signs of me getting bored yet, had it 6 months, grin every time I see some one look at it. I'm about to turn 20 and have an IS200 Sport. The cheapest place I found insurance is with egg.com , paying approx 1500-1600. Quotes for the IS300 were around 2k - if it was a manual i'd get it. The IS200 is a pretty good performer for its insurance grouping. What car's have you had before? I went from driving escorts and a mondeo. The difference is uncompairable!!

I noticed a similar think on my 2k sport. People sat behind must think IS200's a 5 litre monsters!

I've got a W reg sport. I'm currently in a 53 plate is200se hire car. Handling seems the same, engine seems more responsive, probably due to the fact it's only done 17k and my 40k'er needs a good service!

I think it will appeal to people to company car drivers. My dad wanted an IS200, but the fuel costs were too high, he would have bought one if available in diesel. He bought a mazda 6 instead, shame on him!

My car is due to be repaired very soon (after the accident) The body shop want to replace the front two wheels, I'm not happy about having brand new on the front and not the back, so they've given me the budget of what the front two cost iwith tyres: £918 inc VAT So, I've got £918 to spend, want some bling looking rims, 18's pref. Need some help on what makes and models. I only have 3 days to decide!!

So its a constant process, so the 4k increase can not be moved further down the rev range?

Is there such a product out there that alows you to change the point of RPM where the VVTI effect takes place? Eg, as you would with a VTec timer?? What I'm trying to say is, is it possible to lower the point of RPM where the 2nd fuel rail kicks in? - (Forgive me if thats not technically correct :duh: )
