  1. AFAIK you can't fit a tow bar to an F-Sport due to the bumper design. Essentially they are the same car. Exec more comfy ride, F-Sport, sports seats, bigger wheels stiffer suspension and more pronounced body kit. They both use the same engine and have the same performance.
  2. Called up selling, the more you spend the better the salesperson's commission
  3. I had similar to this. Tiny little rattle on my NX pahse-1. If the radio is turned up you can't hear it, but I know it's there. after 2 years of ownership I found my rattle! When the third (centre) seatbelt is retraced into the roof lining the clasp (plastic part) gently "bashes" against the hard plastic housing / holder thingy. A couple for felt pads to separate the two hard plastic surfaces, and vualá rattle be gone! I think Japanese road must be much smoother and not as pothole riddled compared to the UK.
  4. try selecting the other view option, bottom right of the screen, it gives a wider angle view filling the screen.
  5. Wouldn't know about the ES cruise control, but on my 2020 NX gen-1 it can be set at 20 mph, and use it frequently where I live as there's a primary school at the top of the nearby "rat run" road.
  6. That's correct, the analogue clock is adjusted / set via the infotainment system using the GPS signal.
  7. To stop evaporation from your skin would be unhealthy, to dangerous as it would have to block your pores and not allowing your skin to breathe. Did find this from Panasonic. What does Nanoe X do? nanoe™ X inhibits bacteria and viruses, moulds, allergens, pollens, and hazardous substances, as well as deodorising. It penetrates even tightly woven fabrics, including curtains, blinds, carpets and furniture, reaches pollutants on hard surfaces, and helps clean the air that we breathe. So Panasonic's tech version of febreze antibacterial spray. LOL
  8. If service A is a major service, and Service B is the intermediate service the per service costs for an NX are as follows. Service A / Intermediate = £305 Service B / Full £580 So, 2x A + 1xB total is ££1190.00, means £104.55 "Admin Fee" for spreading the cost. But if the figures are the other way round, Service A = Full and Service B = intermediate, you're on a winner. The total cost for 3 individual services comes to £1465.00, so you'd be £170.45 up!
  9. So, damp air inside a car made of steel. I still don't understand how that's a good thing
  10. "Stops moisture evaporation" Is that a good thing? In car that's made of steel.
  11. Book my services via the Lexus app or through the web. One email confirmation later and sorted. Never had an issue, local dealer is Lexus Nottingham.
  12. But, you are allowed to do that as long as you don't drop into lane one undertake, then move back up to lane two. It's stated in the rule. If you drop into lane one as it's less busy or moving faster and stay in that lane you help ease congestion in lane two. So the computer not knowing the highway code, or being able to judge the traffic flow si going to prevent you from making a sensible choice? That's too much "big brother" for me
  13. "Overtake prevention" isn't particularly well documented in the manual and it is a bit of a misnomer, what it does it stop you going up the inside of slower moving traffic on a highway (i.e. you are in lane 1 and traffic in lane 2 is slowing down, it stops you accelerating on the inside). This to my mind fixes something I've noticed for a while as a limitation of ACC so I am all for this one. I think the opposite, its a terrible piece of nanny state tech. There's no law saying lane one has to the same or slower speed than lane 2. Stifles the flow of traffic, creating unnecessary congestion.
  14. I know every new model has real world teething troubles, but there seems heck of a lot for the new NX, more that usual for Lexus. I'm wondering if they rushed it out to market to cash in before proper testing was concluded. Or, it may just be my perception because the woes are more concentrated in a forum environment?
  15. Tried using mine. the auto detect / dip works fine, but the human eye is quicker noticing on coming traffic. Had a few instances where I get inpatient oncoming drivers flashing me like there's a black Friday sale on flashing your lights.
  16. Complain to Claire Davies. Not sure how far you'll get, but worth a try as nothing to lose. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/claire-davies-8921a877
  17. Its not Lexus, it'll be the finance underwriters
  18. Ahh I see, yeah the my ancient 2020 NX doesn't have that
  19. Isn't that where the physical key goes in case of smart key failure?
  20. True, I was just stating that the S trans can be used in all 3 modes, and does not have to be exclusively with S mode. My old Lancer GS4 with CVT only went into sports+ mode when the shifter was in "manual"
  21. Nope, on my NX 300h S mode is sports mode. Shifting the gear lever to the right it also puts the "gearbox" into manual S mode for the paddle shifters if you wish. IIRC, the sports paddle "gearbox" feature can be used in all modes, eco/normal/sports.
  22. I doubt it. Such a popular hard to get model, I'd expect the dealer to give you a take it or leave it choice, as they know they can shift the incoming motor quickly, and possibly without having to PX
  23. Oh I see. Not sure about the new model NX, but the original doesn't have a camera inside it, it's just a sensor for auto dimming / anti glare.
