No idea sorry, its not my car :( There are a few places that do kits, but the ones I have seen don't the bits which fit around the handbrake

I wouldn't mind a copy of the Lexus logos... I am not too bad with Photoshop myself ;) (thinks back to DID days, EF2000, F22 ADF), but, like theDon, just not enough time to play :( Maybe have to make time.... once I have all this kit installed.... fair comment Paul about the project, I think I will have to do a bit at a time. Just can't decide which bit to start on...lol. I'm thinking of completing the boot build first (including dynamatting), then I can add the wiring, then the headunit & screen.

The brackets are well made, and won't mark your dash. Which ones did you go for ?

I do, mine is not in yet though, as I am working on fitting my touchscreen into the OEM nav housing. Biggest problem is time :( I have amps, speakers, head unit, carputer, split charge system all ready to go in, just need a few clear days to do it in... one day :)

I found a guy through Ebay who I have bought some of these from (to mount phone & pda), very reasonably priced too if you're thinking of getting some. The brackets are £13 + shipping IIRC There is also one you can use to mount a TFT on the centre console just behind the armrest for rear passengers.

lol.. was just editing post with links.. have a look. they are used for mounting pda's & phones... no reason why you couldn't use one for S-AFC

What about using a Brodit mounting bracket for your S-AFC ? left of headunit (screen in your case) console mount (left of gearshift) left of AC controls right of AC controls

You could get a regular size Pioneer DVD slot drive, no annoying draw to contend with then. They are down to about £20 now I think... or go mad and get a DVDR...

Sorry to hear that mate, I can't imagine they would write the car off, the repair would usually have to exceed 60% the value of the vehicle before they would entertain this. It will only devalue the car if a crap repair is carried out. Just make sure you're happy with it, and don't accept anything less than the vehicle being returned to as it was before. Looks like a new wing, and a new door.. her insurance will be paying anyway, no argument there

I think the man to speak to is Chris Shipley, as he works for Lexus and knows his stuff, send him a PM. I would imagine you would need to fit the lead, as its not a common opted for extra, and I think I am right in saying that it cannot be fitted if you have Lexus Nav. Most leads of this type are about £30-£50.. with it being a Lexus, who knows...

If you're going for an aftermarket headunit, you could use a DIN mount, and have 2-3 gauges there (of the 52mm variety)

Have a look here, you can download a skin for Mediacar or Frodoplayer, and grab the Lexus logo :)

You just need to change the skin on Frodoplayer, there are loads of very finished looking skins on MP3car.. including a brush metal one with a Lexus logo on it... :) You could even make your own, but basically you can rearrange and change the sizes to whatever you want.

Have you had a look at Frodoplayer? Seems to be very popular and constantly under development. From what I understand MediaEngine has gone very slow since it started using an access database to build its playlists etc...

No idea if they fit. I thought the HKS bars were thicker? Maybe I should just get a new set of standard bushes :(
